Saw Stampede this afternoon

it was great and all but here's my biggest complaint. The reveal of what the treasure was happened way too early. Fair enough if the characters see it and make comments but it was pretty obvious what it was going to be and its ultimate fate. Yet, I feel it could have waited a bit longer to reveal it.

I loved all the Cameos and this was a great Funimation debut for characters from Dressrosa. I expected Cavendish to be a bit deeper though.

I really had a moment when Nami used Zeus because I thought Big Mom was right behind. Oh well, at least Morgans was in the movie.

But speaking of Big Mom, I had hope when Chiffon was visibly with Bege, but she got no lines so I guess I cant consider any of the Charlotte's are present. I was trying to figure out when this takes place but the term "Fifth Emperor" was mentioned so I guess just before Reverie?

I could go on an uncomfortable tirade on how basically the whole movie was the final battle. I mean, it's just Luffy showing off in a feature length battle.

But I felt it was worth the bus to downtown.

Today's the birthday of Krieg's locksmith, Kagikko (yes, he had a locksmith).

Today is Whitey Bay's birthday. I remember her ship not stopping after Kuzan froze the water at Marineford. On a funny note, it's snowing outside where I am.

That last page.
Orochi deserves what's coming to him, what a fucking snake. Now boarding the Kin'emon vs Orochi hypetrain.

I expect Kaidou to Squish Orochi after things start falling apart, It would be a little strange to me for Luffy to beat both Yokou back to back so one of them is going to have to turn..and Big Mom is a psycho crazy cat lady so I expect it to be Kaidou.

Okay, today's birthdays are really minor...

Remember when Charlos was introduced and he asked this woman to marry him, and then he shot her actual fiance? Well, the woman's name is Marie, her fiance is named Judy, and the two of them have the same birthday, which is today.

I promise there will be a better birthday tomorrow.

It won't be a good birthday for either of them, because he lost his fiance and she got enslaved by that fat fuck.

Also there's a break next week, so you all know what this means right? We have only six chapters left in all of 2019, and then Kaidou and Orochi will finally kill Oden Oda and end the flashback manga forever.

Someone made a bold prediction and we should see if it holds true in the coming weeks:

My question there is, What is in it for Kaido? But that is my question in all of this. Kaido doesn't seem to have any sort of real plan going on here, he is only using Wano as a dumping ground for Sad and using the jail to break people he wants in his crew.

I have read every chapter of Wano and I have no idea who half these characters are.

Amazon Lily was a nice, simple, one volume storyline.

I recall that weapons the Revos took from Dofalmingo were made from a rare ore, and Kaido does want to plunge the world into a massive war that might kill him. Wano most likely has that ore, and being isolated means he can pump out the weapons without the WG knowing where they came from.

If that is what Kaido wants, why didn't he roll into Reverie with his Crew and drag his big ole dick all over the Celestial Dragons till Aniku showed up to try and kill him.

goddamn it people stop posting so quick

Amazon Lily was a nice, simple, one volume storyline.
Wano has been set up since the War of the Best (10 years ago) and Oda's supposedly been waiting to draw it for a long time, so expect to be here for a while, especially since it seems to be the place where some of the series's biggest questions are set to be answered.

My question there is, What is in it for Kaido? But that is my question in all of this. Kaido doesn't seem to have any sort of real plan going on here, he is only using Wano as a dumping ground for Sad and using the jail to break people he wants in his crew.
It can be inferred that Kaidou's original interest in Wano came from Oden knowing how to read and write poneglyphs, and his newfound knowledge of the world after having been to Raftel. After that failed I guess he stumbled upon the fact that there was material gain (seastone comes from Wano) to be made and military power to be utilized (the samurai are supposed to be fucking strong, though this may be outdated information; we haven't seen anyone outside of the Akazaya Nine doing cool shit and the country went to hell 2 decades ago with the Animal Kingdom Pirates mostly shitting up the place).
I recall that weapons the Revos took from Dofalmingo were made from a rare ore, and Kaido does want to plunge the world into a massive war that might kill him. Wano most likely has that ore, and being isolated means he can pump out the weapons without the WG knowing where they came from.
That makes sense, since the stuff is called "Drunken Iron Ore", and considering what Kaidou is usually seen doing...
Also the WG knows damn well where that shit comes from, they trade battleships and shit for seastone among other things from Orochi and Kaidou but don't want that fact advertised. I'll be thoroughly surprised if Kaidou kept that material for himself.
If that is what Kaido wants, why didn't he roll into Reverie with his Crew and drag his big ole dick all over the Celestial Dragons till Aniku showed up to try and kill him.
Because if he does that and it goes wrong not only will his forces be weaker, the competition will have made a power play in his absence (much like he tried to do during the Paramount War until Shanks repelled him), and the last thing the world needs is Big Mom or Blackbeard (the latter being a worst-case scenario) in control of the Wano Country.

But if he wants to die, none of the Matters if he goes up against the WG and gets killed he gets what he wants, if BB or Mom take over his stuff it just gives him an excuse to go try and get killed punching them in the face, He already has one of the strongest crews in existence If he truly wants to die why isn't he out starting shit? Why is he sitting on his rear end drinking himself stupid?
