Today is Captain Gorilla's birthday.

I just basically skipped to the last Five minutes where Leo and Chinjoa's Grandson (currently can't remember his name) talk about how much they need to get stronger. I also enjoyed seeing Cavendish on anime talking about Luffy with such great admiration. Considering how much he hated Luffy, I really love how he turned his head around for him and have sworn allegiance.

But fuck all that. All I wanted was my baby. And YES! They gave him one more shot! Doesn't give off most of his features though, but his appearance didn't even seem much like it was shadowed... Like his entire body is literally black. And with how Armament Haki has been shown to exist in this universe... I wonder if that means Im is permanently made with Armament Haki? I can't wait to see his eye color.

And I'm sure its going to be interesting seeing Im in the Butterfly Room. That room is bound to help support my Armament Haki idea, what with how beautiful and bright it would be.

His name is Sai, and don't forget that Im was black in the manga too, so I'd hesitate before jumping to any conclusions regarding haki until the manga more explicity nudges itself in that direction.

LOL they just wanna hide his design. He's meant to be very mysterious and shady. I also don't think that he'd be the type to get his hands dirty anyways.

IMO, he's far likelier to be part of Vivi's payoff instead of Luffy's.

Never rated anything more :optimistic: in my life. You have to be delusional to think that some 2-bit actor suing a Sony-backed company for like 5 mil is gonna cause anything significant.

that "2-bit actor" is worth more than 2/3's of the entire cast of this anime's english dub

How many other VA's do you know of that have lines at a con with a 2-hour wait? That get disrupted because the length of the line constitutes a fire hazard?

Also fuck Sony.

Though that does beg the question, who's gonna end up voicing Sabo once they get to dubbing Dressrosa?

Easy to say when the entirety of the anime VA community has minimal talent to begin with (pro-Vic or anti-Vic, makes no difference to me). Never watched a dub without cringing on the inside, and I'm not even this huge weeb, I watch Western cartoons just fine.

I discussed it at more length in the general anime thread, but there's just something about either the quality of the actors or the voice direction that just makes their works incredibly awful to my ears. Add to that their propensity for drama, and you've got the makings of a pretty annoying community.

They can all rot in a trash fire for all I care.

Holy shit they didn't do Dressrosa yet? It's been like 2 years now.
