I'm a bit bummed Absalom may be dead, so I guess he didn't sneak into Reverie after all--or he did (because how else did Blackbeard learn of what was going on unless he's got spies there?), and when he was leaving he ran into the Blackbeard Pirates. Either way, I'm fearing more for Moriah's well-being at this point in time 'specially since his Devil Fruit would definitely be targeted, but he's not going to die without seeing Kaido.

That'd be too cruel, Oda, please don't make that happen ;^;.

6. She finally got a new outfit. And those fangirls' heads are going to get added to her collection.

Catarina'll probably let them live because they're fawning over her, and that's what matters most to her. They look like plain girls anyway, the "best" ones are probably with Blackbeard and she most likely wouldn't go after them without his permission/compensation (personally going with this).

For everyone patting themselves over the back for realizing that Jack, Queen, King, and Kaido are the Four Horsemen, some guy predicted it half a year ago: http://www.opfanpage.com/2018/05/24/kaido-calamities-the-four-horsemen-of-apocalypse/
Even going as far as connecting the sheep-horned mooks and the relation of beasts with the biblical source.
Too bad he got the roles wrong, though. Jack the Drought being war, of all things.

When was the last time we saw Blackbeard before this? is this his official introduction as a Yonko?

I'm not sure if it is, but that panel with all his pirate bitches definitely echoes White Beards introduction.

Well you were right about Tama, and that shit only turned out to be minor injuries. If this comes true as well, then should I be worried about One Piece getting... predictable?
Hell no, it means I'm that good yo.

I should make a channel to post my theories and get some cash for my spergery.

He got the Reverie news from the paper, but we don't know how he got the news from Wano.

Absalom dying is kinda shocking, but he's honestly the perfect character for this moment:
  • Underutilized power.
  • Memorable enough for his death to be impactful.
  • Unimportant enough so as to not disturb Oda's plans.

This is the 1st time we see his full appearance in the flesh since the Time Skip happened. His last appearance was when Luffy's new bounty got announced, and it was in silhouette.

Today is Ran's birthday!

Today is the birthday of Kohza's uncle Goro. He runs an onsen with Gedatsu.

926 Spoilers are apparently out via OroJackson, they're supposedly confirmed via 5ch, but take it with a bit of salt for now, if anything more surfaces, I will edit this post as they're kinda bare-bones for now:

One Piece Chapter 926 Spoilers
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quick Summary

Translation by @Masasoite

In the town, in the newspapers(leaflets/kawaraban/瓦版), there are a lot of people who seem to be samurais, as well as the blazon/mark of the Kozuki Clan, which looks like the sun.
Has the Kozuki Clan returned?
Nami and a female ninja are sneaking into somewhere.

Luffy and Kid are enslaved to carry stones.
Although they are cuffed by Seastone handcuffs, they are carrying a lot of stones.
They compete with each other while having lunch.
The hippopotamus guard is furious.
As a punishment, he swallows Luffy and Kid into his mouth.
Somehow the hippopotamus falls down.
Luffy and Kid come out.
Luffy is holding a child in his arms*.
Ba-bam! (sound of shamisen)

*Update & Note: someone who read the manga said that it's not a child but an old dude that Luffy is holding, but the original Japanese spoiler text says "child", so pick whatever you believe...

LOL you may be the only person I know who watches One Piece and hates Luffy.

I don't hate him, I just hate when there's too much focus on him.

Back at the Corrida Colosseum, I was so freaking bored until Sabo showed up.

Also I'm not sure how it "counts" for Luffy to "show off" when he still believes his crew was fried before his eyes. He's just very pissed off right now.

EDIT:

He's the protagonist, though, the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates. His dream to become Pirate King is bigger than him and he tells that to everyone he meets. He wouldn't have gotten to where he is without his crew, true, but he's one of the most ambitious if not stubborn protags out there.

He's the protagonist of the series.

And Sabo kind of sucks. He's like a whitebread version of Ace with a few of Luffy's quirks and Coby's face.

He also thinks
Tama is probably dead (and he'll still be pissed off even if he finds out she wasn't because a new friend of his got hurt by Kaidou, even if only slightly).

Also the second paragraph could also be applied to Blackbeard, kinda.

And that's why he's Luffy's biggest (probably truest) foil. It's also a clever way to have your typical "rivalry" you usually see in shounen titles without betraying the spirit of adventure. It's like that with the other Supernovas as well in terms of ideologies (so we should expect a lot of tension and butting heads with Kidd), but it's more direct with Blackbeard. The inevitable battle between them over who gets the title of Pirate King is going to be among the top best fights in the series in terms of importance and scale, and as it stands Luffy's at a huge disadvantage. It's gonna be a close one by the time we get to that fight.

I just don't want Luffy's time in prison to amount to the fellow jailers going "Haha, what a Shrimp!" to Luffy doing something badass to make them change their mind. We, as readers, get the message. Luffy is super physically strong. I don't understand why Oda needs to have some period in each Arc to prove to us how powerful he is.

I think this time it will be more about growth, because Luffy got battered this arc.

Update to the Spoilers, looks like they were indeed accurate, but now we have the detailed ones:
