I actually found the base Vivre Card binder at Kinokuniya, but I decided against buying it because Vivre Card is an obvious money trap. I bought the first two volumes of One Piece Party instead.
Kinokuniya is fucking amazing. Easily the best experience I've had in any bookstore out there.
And yeah, you're right about the Vivre Cards lol, they're like the DLC of character databases, also they ignored Domino and thus will incur @TrippinKahlua's wrath.
We have interesting chapter this week,so lets start.
Translation is made by Zoro4Prez2016 from Oro Jackson, give him credit!
Title of chapter is; Ha
Japanese Kabuki theater is divided into 5 acts jo-ha-kyū.
We are currently on the”Ha” acts,so we can expect 5 acts, each made of 15-20
chapters! ( Arthur will know more )
- Law attempts to Rescue Luffy and escape, but he is hit with a nail made of Seastone, sealing away his powers.
- While Law was stuck with Seastone nails, he was somehow able to escape to successfully get away. (updated)
-Hawkins explains that Seastone, which has spread out through the world, originated in Wano Country and the only craftsmen skilled enough to refine Sea stone so small exist only in Wano Country.
-While still knocked out, Luffy scowls at Kaido.
-Kaido orders his subordinates to throw Luffy in a prison.
-Kaido: "If we can break his spirits, then he can become a fine military power for us.
"As all of the subordinates close in on Luffy, they all suddenly begin foaming from mouth and collapse.
-Shutenmaru: "That was Lord Oden's power just now... Did that guy do it!?" Kaido: "So you too... that brat, Kid, had that same Haoshoku Haki... Hardly anyone can use that Haoshoku."( this needs to be confirmed, but 95% is correct translation, there are difference in Coc)
-Kaido puts off the retrieval of Law and flies off in order to start drinking again. While Law was stuck with the Seastone nail, a single person was able to successfully escape.
In Okobore Town, Tsuru is attending to the wounded. Kinemon watches over her from the shadows. Kinemon is suprised after he sees Shutenmaru, who has gotten to close to his side.
-Kinemon: (Ashura Douji!)
O-kiku arrives at the remains of Oden Castle and discovers a large pit. Inside the pit are Nami and the others.
-Shinobu can make whatever she touches mature with her "Juku Juku Bewitching Jutsu", and she was able to protect Everyone by maturing the ground and making it sink.
-Inuarashi discovers Tama barely breathing in the wastelands. A special issue paper is being distributed throughout Wano Country. Ussop, Franky, and Robin read it with a horrifying speechless expression!
-The next day in Wano Country, several samurai are being worked like slaves in a factory in Udon. A single guard approaches a cell with a poisonous fish and peers into it. The cell is dark, and you can not see into the farther areas.
"Anybody in here?"
-"Well, '4 poisonous fish a day' and 'boneless fish.' Those two were the only things decided on.
-The guard absentmindedly puts the fish in the cage without removing the bones.A chained Luffy carries it attention, and a bone from the poisonous fish goes flying and stabs the guard in the neck. Who's collapsed to the ground with blood running from his neck, asks what's in this cage, but nobody knows.
Kaido's subordinates laugh loudly That's Luffy is being put into hard to work until his spirit breaks. Inside the cage, a similarly ragged Kid resides.
Luffy and Kid: "We remember ... Kaido ..."
"Hm? Ah ... You ..."
The stage curtain falls.End of Act 1 of Wano Country.
UPDATE:
Soon page with Luffy and Kid will be released.
If I've tagged you, it's probably under the spoiler cut, so read first! It's a great and very satisfying chapter.
- Ponyglyphs have been shown to be Wano's doing, and now Seastone too!? Seems to me like we will get quite the mythology class in this arc, considering that we just closed the arc's 1st act.
- Franky, Robin and Usopp's (hi @Kari Kamiya!) faces upon finding out about Luffy were great . Shame we didn't get to see Zoro's though.
- Fuck you @Mr. 0! Tama is ALIVE! I WAS RIGHT! (Also Kaido is a scumbag who did it without caring about whatever they wanted from her, so you were right too).
- Luffy glaring at Kaido with Haoshoku Haki even after he was beaten down is great. and kinda satisfying too.
- The final few pages were out of this world! The mystery prisoner, Luffy foreseeing the Fish bones, Kid and Luffy swearing vengeance on Kaido, the curtains literally closing while Luffy and Kid recognize each other... This is gonna be great material for the Anime!
- Speaking of which, I have my own theory on the mystery prisoner, which will be in it's own spoiler bracket to avoid the darkhorse816 rule (nervously looks at @trombonista)
It's Lord Oden. The eye shape matches Momonosuke's, and the mention of him being a Haoshoku user (and thus being of great determination) kinda adds to this.
Plus, we never actually saw him die, every single thing about him, we know from 2nd and 3rd hand sources.
Finally, if we look at it from the perspective of the pattern of how Kaido operates vis-a-vis recruitment, he is definitely the kind of person who would try to break Oden's will and turn him into a subordinate.

How the fuck did Seastone leave the Wano Country if the borders are closed anyway? Maybe it's a Blank Century holdover? Up until now I'd assumed the World Government developed that shit (and in-universe that's probably what they tell everyone).
- Fuck you @Mr. 0! Tama is ALIVE! I WAS RIGHT! (Also Kaido is a scumbag who did it without caring about whatever they wanted from her, so you were even more right than I was).
Kaido caught Luffy glaring at him when no one else surrounding him did; that perceptiveness is gonna be something to watch out for in later appearances

Yeah when they get there in about 5 years. I fucking bet you there's gonna be a filler arc once they leave Totto Land (kind of like the Caesar Retrieval Arc existing between Punk Hazard and Dressrosa). Then again, I don't watch it much outside of clips these days anyways so fuck it.

Well, the chapter secrets was right about Shutenmaru... Plus we don't know how Kinemon and co. actually know that Oden was executed. Maybe they've been influenced by... bigfake news...?
I have a feeling that Luffy will take down Kaido mano-a-mano. He may get help from Kid ala the Doflamingo fight, but I think it will eventually get down to 1v1. It wouldn't be satisfying otherwise.
This chapter's fucking amazing, I loved every minute of it.
Another adorable cover page:
Is this the first time we learn about where the sea prism stone came from? It's been a long while, I don't remember if its origins has ever been brought up.
What went through my mind: REEEEEEEEEE STOP LOOKING AT MEEEEEEEEEEE
Pffft quote of the year.
NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
That's the most adorable harrowing scene ever.
Oh Sanji. XD
What the fuck Frank--
AAAAAAA HOLY SHIT ODA, YOU CARD, WE'RE NOT WORTHY
Awwwww yiiiiiiiisssss.
Really, the whole scene of Udon was amazing. I'm looking forward to whoever it is they've been feeding poisonous fish to.
That is so fucking clever I'm not even mad there's a break next week.
Did you check the manga? It's got plenty, one matching the profile of the drawing you posted shows up at the end of Punk Hazard when he transforms from dragon form for the first time.
the mystery prisoner is gold roger, who never actually died because we didn't see it on screen and has been teased by oda even in the SBS
Also what if it's not Momonosuke's father, but his sister? As unlikely as it is, it'd be a totally fucked plot twist yet appropriate considering the circumstances.
Ehhhhh I personally try not to let the shape of the eyes be the basis for characters being related to each other and stuff, especially since despite how Oda's tried to make designs look unique with each characters, similar eye shapes pop up often and between unrelated characters. I ended up doing that when it came to Noland and Usopp and I don't want to continue to get my hopes up that they may be related through Yasopp as a result.
Though granted, those are unique eyes when it comes to One Piece characters... 'cause I remember watching Skypeia for the first time and thinking to myself, "Why does Noland have the same eyes as Usopp?", so...

I still wrote that off as Usopp being Usopp lol. It'd be great if it turns out to actually be the case, though, but I don't want to hold my breath over it.
