Yeah this better lead into some huge serious shit, otherwise it's gonna suck so hard if this turns out to be the moment one piece jumps the shark. :jacepout:
I don't think there will be many issues with time travel, provided Oda limits himself to the 5 going forward, it's only going backwards in time that fucks shit up so much.

I just thought of something. If they're really from the past, then does that mean that Kaido has more or less been in control of the Wano Country for 20 years? Maybe this is one of the things that got him recognized as one of the Four Emperors.

I'm also going to shit bricks if we find out that there was a good reason the country's borders are closed, and that opening them will do more harm than good to everyone involved.

I'm really glad Trafalgar currently has "No choice" but to continue their original plan to take down Kaido.

That was the goal. Of course, beating Doffy was an important step, but Law was just too damn invested in getting back for that traitor who rightfully deserved what he got.

Seriously. One of my favorite moments in One Piece was when Rosinante gave kid Law that note to give the Marines, Specifically told Law to NOT bring any Marines back to him, and kid Law was just all "Boo-hoo-hoo" he disobeyed his "Cora-San" and told someone who turned out to be Vergo.

I think I shouted in my head the biggest "GOOD!" I ever thought to myself.

Like seriously. I will never stop disliking Rosinante. I don't care how evil Doffy is. I hate when people betray, even if its happening in the villains side of things.

Plus, Kid Rosinante looked so pathetic with that bowl haircut that hid his eyes.

Dude... calm down.

are you sure you're in the right topic? none of that actually happened

Just had a conversation with a brother on the way home from church and thought of something I'm just going to throw up here very quick for prosperity.

Calling it now, Kaido has eaten the Ox-Ox Fruit, Model: Minotaur which would be a mythical Zoan. And it's not an artificial SMILE fruit, either.

Yes, there is a character called Minotaurus that I just remembered but he's a cow. I feel like the minotaur is completely separate from the cow. The wiki states he appears to be more based off the oni, but I thought minotaur. If someone somewhere out there has already come up with this, I didn't know, just came up with it on my own.

I think the Minotaur thing is far too repetitive visually and unwieldly to choreograph when doing fight scenes, we already have Minotaurus, and Dalton also has an Ox fruit.

My personal favorite theory right now is Kaido eating the Dragon fruit, but I guess we have to wait lol.

Also, it is worth mentioning that the Anime has finally got to my personal favorite point of the Luffy/Katakuri fight:

We are finally getting to the 2nd half of the fight, I am honestly pleased with how the fight has been animated, you get the feeling that the animation staff really loves the material and isn't just gonna slap the manga panels with passable in-between animation.

Spoilers are out for 920: https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/9kxxb6/chapter_920_spoiler/

From 5ch

Oden Castle's real name is The Castle of Kuri.
They call it as "Oden Castle" because Oden was so popular in this land.
Oden was the son of former Shogun "Kozuki Sukiyaki", and was exiled out of the Flower Capital because he caused violence many times.
There are lawless places in Wano and Kuri was the most violent one. Even Shogun's family couldn't help this situation.
However, Oden was able to defeat the most dangerous guy in Kuri, whose name is Ashura Douji.
Then, Oden built towns in Kuri and gave those people job in this lawless area.
Sukiyaki rewarded him as "the Daimyo of Kuri
Meanwhile, Zoro is getting lost somewhere.

Inuarashi is standing on Kuri's beach and thinking his old past with Oden.
Inuarashi was a wandering man and people thought that he is creepy.
However, Oden treated him in a very friendly way.
Kinemon continues the story. They reach the core of this whole story when Kin starts talking about a Samurai that made Whitebeard and Roger "fall for" him.
The core part is not shown, the only thing we get is "In the end, Oden had a grand and honorable death."

Kinemon says they tried to reach the castle, but it was already burnt by Kaidou.
There were 3 people in the castle, Momonosuke, his sister Hiyori, and their mother Kozuki Toki.
There existed a rumor that Toki was born in the far away past, but she herself stated that she traveled to the future with the power of the Toki Toki.
Toki sent them to the future, and the only thing they could see is a wasteland Wano.
So they starts to find all the helping forces to take down Orochi.
A man named Jibuemon said he has waited them for 20 years.
Kinemon: The samurais that we can fight together all have a moon mark on their ankle.
I have a feeling we will get to know Zoro's past.. Remember that we know nothing about his family, and his Master (Kuina's father), I am particularly interested in this Ashura Douji dude.

Also, I am putting :gold::gold::gold: money now on:
1) Tama being Hiyori.
2) The Tengu dude being one of the 9 samurai.
3) This Samurai that both Roger and Whitebeard "fell for" being Ryuuma.

Break next week.. (:_(

Joy Boy really likes to constantly bring this up....

Very interesting, also, how Zoro conveniently vanishes just panels before supposedly being reunited with Sanji.

Edit: Also seems this is gonna be quite the information-packed chapter. That's usually the big silver lining after the arc goes through its obligatory "Luffy showing off" part that happens just after every arc begins.

HYYYYYYPE

Damn, things are getting intense. This is going to be a great arc.

I think it's really in Oda's hands, he could just say the fruit hasn't been found yet or something to that effect and that would keep the genie in the bottle, so to speak.

I am far more interested about this Samurai that impressed Whitebeard and Roger, that looks like it was quite significant and I kinda hate Oda for making me wait for it lol.

I hope we do jump back to Reverie for at least a few more chapters.

I want more of Im.

And besides the last couple chapters, I haven't really been enjoying this arc like I thought I would. But, for the third time I say this, that's due to "Luffy showing off" moments.
