I like it, conceptually. Everyone has the notion that Conqueror's Haki is something that only people with the "qualities of a king" can have because everyone that's known to use it is a really important guy with vast ambitions. If the mechanism behind CH is that it requires you to be completely in tune with your sense of self, it starts making more sense why a brat like Kid could use it. I swear I've seen Kid use Conqueror's Haki before. Maybe in one of the games? Anyway, it's not that the bar for entry is lowered like going Super Saiyan, it's that we know exactly where the bar is now and why so few people meet those standards. fucking saiyan "back tingles," come on...

It makes sense to have "qualities of a king" be "being in tune with your sense of self". "Conquer yourself before you conquer others."

Less stressful environments cause the SS transformation to be easier to achieve. "Back tingles" or not, both Trunks and Goten turned it into child's play way before the U6 Saiyans analyzed the method.
 
oh yeah speaking of the latest chapter the amount of people i have seen that are fully convinced sanji is going to come out as gay/trans just because he remembered something from his training with ivankov has really done a great job at highlighting how many people have decided to latch onto one piece just because of retarded political stuff rather than any actual enjoyment of the story itself. also sanji isnt trans but he does hate himself and his body for an entirely different reason
 
The flashback starts when Killingham insults normal cooking and asks what people even eat outside the Celestial Dragon universe, and is followed by Sanji being told by the Big Giant Head that he's got a glaring weakness. I hope that means his weakness has to do with 'you don't consider some things ingredients' and somehow that has to do with the rest of the weakness logic. Also fuck trans Sanji theory but that's a given.

they're forgetting that sanji's air walk ability was created out of desperation to stay away from the okamas for two years straight. you're not going to convince me that a guy who LEARNED HOW TO WALK ON AIR TO AVOID THEM would ever end up becoming one of them.
