Fuck I forgot Harjudin was essentially, if intentionally, responsible for Usopp getting his “God Usopp” moniker, I always get a kick out these moments where a Straw Hat feels compelled to support Luffy against someone else since so much of the series is about Luffy supporting other people. Part of me wishes they occurred more frequently and maybe more dramatically, but I also recognize that part of the impact is how sparsely they happen.
 
its going to be so funny when usopps grand speech somehow results in him getting an even bigger bounty because imu ends up blaming him for everything. also speaking of imu he really is starting to feel like freiza with how his new bigger form is getting slapped around all of a sudden.at this point i almost expect imu to appear defeated only to come back and randomly murder someone before destroying elbaf while everyone races to flee the island leaving only luffy behind or whatever.

It only seems that way because of all the extra breaks and the color spreads. What would it be about though? We had two back to back Totto Land ones (Germa 66 and Capone Bege) and Yamato's cover story covered most of the Wano cast.
The only things I can think of would be
-Scratchmen Apoo
-Basil Hawkins magically surviving
-Sentomaru
-Kizaru

And even then, would it be about?

He's a lunarian, surely he'll be in one of the next two arcs.

As far as cover stories? Maybe the recovery of Egghead island/the seraphim? Or CP0? Usually you get people from last arc and so far Egghead has been skipped.

exactly. its what makes luffy different than joyboy and roger even as well. both joyboy and roger knew everything. luffy on the other hand knows nothing and even when you try to tell him he does not care. he will continue to do whatever he wants because he is free. that freedom is what makes luffy special i think.

though i also just like the idea of robin or whoever telling everyone the entire history of the void century while deep inside mariejois imu has luffy locked up and is trying to explain to him about joyboy only for luffy to fall asleep instantly because of how bored he gets.

my guess right now is we get a new cover story after elbaph is over. as far as what it would be about maybe something with the cross guild or moria? or maybe the reconstruction of egghead? other than that the only thing i could think of is maybe the reveal that big mom and kaido are alive and hiding out somewhere.
