so with that we finally end the flashback. interesting chapter overall imu clearly being effected by haralds defeat makes me think that the immortality we see from gods knights and such is not so much immortality as it is the damage is being sent to imu instead and imu himself is the only true immortal. either way it seems like the key to beating imu is to beat the gods knights and the gorosei. elbaf being connected to the D people just makes me think more that the D is just the symbol for nika/joyboy allies or people who fought on that side during the war which makes me wonder if we might get a surprise team up with blackbeard momentarily at some point.

Might be a Conquerer's haki application, just like Imu's underling effects could be related to the same and the golem having sealed Conquerer's haki in a can is presumably a way of using the ability.

i think this is all ragnirs doing currently with maybe some haki thrown in as well. i honestly wonder if loki is going to just end up being big mom but not power wise. like ragnir will play the role of zeus and prometheus and loki will have his own power to add

Honestly, be real, the One Piece crew are pretty left-wing coded. They probably would hate Trump, who acts like a stereotypical "bumbling idiot" villain with the vain boasts, fucked up face and goofy way of speaking.

Skypeia's plot relevance is... questionable. But its an astounding set piece. I don't think they skip that. Thriller Bark and Impel Down are much better choices. They gave the show six seasons, right? I assume that is pre-time skip and they plan to do Alabasta as season 3 so that gives you 1 season of Jaya/Skypeia, 1 season of Water 7/Ennies Lobby and 1 season for Sabaody and Marineford.

Not that it matters as I refuse to watch even one minute of that shit.

Yeah? How so. The Noland stuff? Could easily be snipped, Usopp could say anything to make the Tontatta love him. And Enel's cover story probably is relevant but so is a bunch of other stuff that got changed or skipped. The backstory of Roger having found the poneglyphs could be put into Alabasta or delayed to W7 or post-time skip. Honestly, Thriller Bark is so much harder to avoid due to introducing Brook. You'd have to meet him in Impel Down, the Paramount War, Enies Lobby, etc.

I mean, for fuck's sake, they skipped Hachi because it would cost too much to animate him. They can and will skip anything if they have to.
