@Incecticyder covers it perfectly in the next post. But Ida didn't say "Harald, become a faggot and damn your nation to be used and abused by evil oligarcs", she just said "I've coexisted with humans, they were nice to me and are terrified of you for legitimate reasons, maybe rollback the raiding". Harald is the one obsessed with world recognition when mending relations with the 5 neighboring islands would have been more than enough. Specially with how long lived giants are that can mend relations for multiple human generations.
Ida has been shown to be INCREDIBLY hands off and to not hold grudges. She is seen like a pariah in a chunk of Elbaf society yet she holds no grudges and respects how to the standard Elbafan she's a sort of pretender seducing the king. If anything, her being so hands off is what lets Harald cook himself into insanity. Ida just said be nicer to humans, mutual friendship is possible, not grovel and let your ass get pounded by them.
I feel like I am reading a different story from these guys. They read stuff that never happened!

i think harald has good intentions and genuinely wants to protect elbaf but his way of doing so was very very flawed. after hearing about what became of rocks he took it as a sign that nobody can stand against the WG and so even while he was furious and went on a rampage he also figured the best way to protect elbaf was to slowly phase out the warrior ways of the giants and try and pass them off as simple peace loving people who just happen to be giant. he knows the WG and imu are using him but in his mind willingly letting himself become a slave is worth it to save his people.

its similar to how kuma allowed vegapunk to make him into a soulless cyborg man as long as bonney was cured even if it meant he would never be allowed to see her again and would eventually forget she existed. harald thinks becoming a tool for the WG will save elbaf much like how kuma thought being a tool would save bonney.

i suspect that in the end harald will realize he is wrong and be killed for it but will give his fruit to loki. the only reason loki is locked up and things are how they are currently is because of jarul he is the real villain here and is most likely working with the gods knights to keep the giants weak and peaceful which is why loki is painted as the worst giant ever.

You had me until Jarul. What has he done to indicate he is evil? For all we know, Jarul too might be in a tough situation too and try to fulfill Harald's dream of a peaceful Elbaph while under the threat of the WG.

I think Honka might be one of those chuds from Harald's dead wife's side of the family...no getting through to (((them)))

have a hard time believing that elbafans are the be all and end all of military might.
Think of it like this. How many admirals does the Navy have? Not enough to deploy wherever they want, and the situation would need to be pretty fucked for an admiral to step in. Giants, however, you can have a ton of them and just having one would be enough to curb most problems outside of a band of merry assholes like one of the worst generation or a former warlord showing up. Have a few of them in each of the four seas, I bet there wouldn't be any Arlongs screwing around.

Not sure if this has been posted here yet but It's so over, GrandLineReview had a call out video made on him.

In all seriousness this is one of the gayest videos I have ever seen. This guy bitches for half the video crying about how GrandLineReview doesn't talk about the "genocide in Gaza" in his anime pirate videos.

There's also this on the side

And acting like this is is so damning that it's going to end his entire career

Most of his channel is this politisperging about how One Piece isn't directly referencing real world politics enough.

Fair point, we do see behind the curtain, but Harald after fucking god valley still went all in, even if he didn't have the full picture. That should have been his "what the hell am I doing" moment and instead he doubled, tripled and cuadrupled down because he was too much of a FAGGOT to accept the reality that he enabled his friend's death for nothing. I sympathize with Loki, I understand what Ida meant, but Harald just loses me more and more each chapter. I'm waiting for realization to hit him like a bag of bricks once domi reversi happens. I guess his whole deal is to personify "good intentions pave the way to hell" but that I get it doesn't mean I won't despise him for it
Except Rocks only died for nothing if he fails to integrate Elbaf and the giants into the greater world. Harold's logic is driven by the guilt of Rocks' death, if he he fails to get Elbaf into the WG he let Rocks die for nothing. There's no turning back now.

Any admiral would be a massive overkill, if three god knights managed to bring them to their knees. If not for SHs and Gaban, none of the knights would have even been forced to use their regeneration.
They should be overkill the admirals are suppose to be the 4 most powerful humans in the WG. Ignoring the knights and gorosei, who mostly rely on being immortal as even the knights were trying to avoid fighting Luffy. The admirals are probably amongst the 12 most powerful humans on the planet (factoring for the yonko and RA), you can't compare them here. The average human is no match for a giant, you could realistically topple or control the average kingdom in the OP world with a half dozen giants. Providing the kingdom doesn't have someone with a particularly powerful DF or strong haki.

I'm kind of torn. It seems like the kind of pragmatic move he would do, but at the same time, Shanks at that point was seen as a selfless guy who cared for his crew and his friends, and Luffy. Giving up his arm and treating it like no big deal may seem like a tactical move if it means getting rid of somebody controlling you, but Oda has always shown that, as Shanks, he is selfless and a genuine desire to keep Lufy safe.
Only way I can think of that working is if he was protecting the fruit not Luffy, given its importance. But honestly it seems weird if so since were that his objective as soon as Luffy ate it he should have been kidnapped and chucked on board the ship.
Only reason I didn't say this is that I have my doubts about Green Bull's competence. but any other of the admiraks decimates them.
In fairness with Green Bull and Fujitora alike both were admirals selected at a terrible time for the government, while they were in a position as possible candidates the intent was likely that only one person would be called up and whoever it was would have two more experienced admirals to support them. With how things went that's not what happened, hence the organisation ended up with a pair not entirely suited for what they wanted. Almost certainly not helped by the remaining admiral needing a foot up his ass every 5 minutes.

Another couple of factors to consider is that it's quite likely both only got their devil fruits on promotion. Which means what we're seeing is people with a comparatively short amount of time to learn how to use them compared to the other admirals.

Agendaposting and slanderposting really broke people mind that they started to get mad because of their own headcanon. A few days ago, I've seen a few people got mad and called Bogard a useless bum because he did nothing in God Valley. Meanwhile Oda never even introduced the guy in the manga or even SBS and we only know him name from the anime credit. People literally hyped Bogard up based on nothing and get disappointed when the story doesn't go according to their headcanon.

They also lived for centuries so 1 deal with the king and that's at least 200-300 years of increased stability for Imu.

Bogard? The fuck is Bogard? Oh ok, he's some guy who stands next to Garp and he trained Koby and Helmeppo in their cover story. Yeah, real stand-out character there.

I mean, I like Bogard. He is the straightman to Garp but rarely we have him talk. He was funny in the Live Action show.

Well, I didn't see that. I guess if he has more of a presence there I shouldn't be surprised he'd have fans
He does not do much but he has funny interactions with Garp. Bogard wants to do his job, Garp wants to eat.

We know he did fail, which is why Imu is using force to get his army.

Also Harold might be right that the giants are violent niggers if I understand right.

Random old giant man poisoned Hartijun's mom despite her being nice to Loki and Loki liking her

THE CURRENT THING!!!!!!
Spergy, jump-cutting, slop-tier intro, shan't be wasting 30+ minutes watching the rest.

I'll go a step further: All anime youtubers are trash. Every last one of them. Top to bottom. They are either bait-posters, time wasters, agenda-spergs, headcanon autists, or, worst of all, pajeets.
