You gotta love Dragon holding a gun to his commander's head while also threatening to kill everyone on that ship just to protect civilians. And it seems we have a countermeasure to the Demon: overwhelming Haki. This might be the reason that robot on Egghead Island was able to drive of the Demons. and last Marco Polo. Really Oda? He has the most insane way to connect his characters

So now all that’s left is for Roger to find baby Shanks and for Dragon to fuck off and become a revolutionary and I think that’s everything with God Valley. Just gotta get back to the present day now and figure out how Elbaf is going to finish without Luffy learning about Imu or Imu powers so the endgame can still be set up without folks connecting the dots too early.

Let's be real Luffy ain't even gonna ask about Imu he is just gonna people till the problem is solved and then ask for meat.

Knowing how the major arcs and villains play out, I think what’s gonna happen is that the final fight is gonna be just where we get all the big lore dumps that’s been hyped up for ages, only for it to be like the South Park episode Towelie where Luffy just doesn’t give a shit (though that may be his default setting until the villain goes after his friends or the last person to give him food).

I can also see Imu stepping out of the shadows and Luffy laughing at Imu’s actual appearance, a reveal that’s been held off and built off in a way I haven’t seen since Fire Lord Ozai.
 
huh im actually shocked i thought rocks would have told garp and roger everything during the fight but i guess it will either be his dying words or roger finds out everything another way,

also i imagine we are getting close now to going back to lokis flashback since rocks dying is most likely the thing that caused loki to start acting out more than he did originally.

all that is left will be for us to figure out who killed harold. i also cant tell if rocks was using haki to protect himself or if domi reversi is a form of conquerors haki that allows imu to control people.

either way if it does turn out the only way to defeat them is with an overwhelming amount of haki it sounds like zoro and sanji will be more than capable of helping out luffy.

imu is totally going to end up being something like katakuri where he looks goofy but also terrifying that or he will be a tiny guy riding a snake.

I am convinced that the shadow IS Imu’s real appearance at this point.

i mean it could be especially if imu is based on the umibozu at all. though i seem to recall big mom and kaido both being shadow figures for a good while until they got revealed later on and of course there is rocks as well. part of me wonders if imu even has a real body. maybe he has taken control of someone else's body and the reason why we he is being hidden is because its a huge spoiler. like maybe he killed joy boy and stole his body and over time its been warped to become his own.

it could also be the effect of a devil fruit. but if we go with what you said maybe thats part of blackbeards plan in the end. if imu is just a concentrated mass of darkness then blackbeard should technically have control over him while also being immune to any devil fruit powers imu may have.
