The ultimate mastery of Conqueror's Haki is using it to hold up your Coat without having your arms in it.
Fake news. As well documented coats are held on with JUSTICE.

This is the exact sort of dangerous misinformation the Rebel Army continues to circulate in the populace. As a measured and restrained response the World Government will be declaring 32 Buster Calls. If we had a single world ruling overlord we are certain they would approve of this but in the absence of such an individual the Celestial Dragons instead have these words of wisdom.

"Lol wut?"
"The poor aren't people."
"Is it time for second breakfast?"
*heavy breathing and heavier staring*

Remember the Marines are the good guys. Garp totally isn’t a fraud who named his son after the beings he worships.

The Buster Calls have moved to 56 and dangerous slander about the HERO of the Marines will not be tolerated. In addition as per Garp's official biography, which you have generously offered to pay 50 Berry* for your free copy of, he in fact named his son after the affection nickname he had for his wife. For any doubting this please note that Garp has only received three scars over the course of his Marine career, all other long term disfigurement comes from his sex life.

*all proceeds go towards our benevolent Celestial Dragons who do not work that they may better devote their time to engaging with the populace

But then how do Luffy, Roger and whitebeard do it?

Enquiries into the sex lives of criminals have pushed the number of Buster Calls to 89 and banned the following search phrases from your Den-Den Mushi;

3 Generations, One Cup
White Blackbreaker
Is It Really Incest If You're My Brother's Father?
Quaking Apart Their Holes

I still think that Imu is a woman and has something to do with controlling the Devil Fruit weakness to the oceans
if imus power is contracts its possible somebody made a contract with imu in which devil fruits are made but the catch is they can never go into the ocean again. this could be because the person imu made the deal with was a fishman though if that is the case i wonder if that means the contract remains active until imu dies as well?

personally i think imu is going to be some type of snake person. maybe like a gorgon type deal. something about how they move around feels very snake like to me maybe they are someone from hancocks family? either way i could see imu being a woman just as much as i could see them being some weird dude like orochi was.

Real-life political talk about One Piece is gay and retarded, and yet it somehow becoming a movement felt like an inevitability. Now I believe that was happening before the Netflix series, I remember hearing that that seems to be the main draw with the Muslim fanbase because holy hell is there a huge Muslim One Piece fanbase when a lot of the messages in the series tends to clash with Islamic beliefs, and there's been a few articles/blogposts by Islam zealots saying that One Piece is evil as a result. It's really fascinating to see, and I'm shocked there hasn't (yet) been word of these countries implementing bans for the series--maybe there hasn't been enough of an outcry from the masses or a lot of their officials are actual fans themselves but haven't been public about it. It's still a bit of a novelty to hear of a government official being open about being a weeb.

Everywhere else, I've noticed this notion really began picking up around Egghead when Saturn's demonic form was revealed, and the first season of the Netflix adaptation had been out for like a year prior. Again, I dunno if Oda meant to imply that the One World Government is being governed by demons, however, it's definitely been making waves among fans who were already looking up to and inspired by the Straw Hats and other characters. Although the Netflix fans are still new to the fanbase and they're pretty retarded as-is, so...

I dunno, I'm honestly torn about it. I love how much the series has impacted and inspired people because I have been impacted by it myself, yet on the other hand, using it as a rally protest cry for political movements is cringe even with the in-series plot of going to war against the regime government (although it's a better analogy to use than Harry Potter and Star Wars combined ngl). And unfortunately, the younger generation for whatever reason just cannot separate fiction from reality.

i get the sentiment from the people doing it but i also really hate it because i feel like they are forcefully branding one piece or whatever they latch onto as part of their ideals and i think that does far more damage than good in the long run. there are people who might avoid one piece or think its some form of radicalizing media all because of people protesting with straw hat flags or seeing someone like hasan talk about it and say its totally this thing.

sure one piece and other stories in general can have some things that reflect on the world around them but i think at the end of the day its an insult to try and force one thing or another onto said story. you can take inspiration sure but at the end of the day a story is just a story and in my opinion one piece is more so about adventure and finding freedom as a person

keep in mind luffy in the end is just a pirate that does what he wants. he is not like dragon who is the leader of an army that directly opposes the world government

The shipping side of this fandom is beyond retarded
Zosan is not real and Lawlu is weird

Everyone knows who Luffy truly works best with. It's so obvious I don't even have to say it, everyone just knows it automatically.
