I get Sakon and Ukon but Diavolo is a DID. Not what I am talking about. I am thinking that BB has a parasitic twin that counts as a second person (and thus a second DF) and sleeps for him.So if Sakon and Ukon were main characters, fused with Diavolo's (implied) gimmick?
I'm pretty sure with the subtext and literally impossible morphing of his body when switching personality, that Diavolo is meant to be the literal Devil in Human Form. It explains why he constantly sounds MAD, and why we never see a Diavolo soul during the mass soul switching event, just King Crimson.I get Sakon and Ukon but Diavolo is a DID. Yeah but Diavolo and Doppio have the exact same body. The body turns bigger but it does not grow new stuff. My parasitic twin theory hinges on the twin having at least its own heart and brain or something (that BB can control).I'm pretty sure with the subtext and literally impossible morphing of his body when switching personality, that Diavolo is meant to be the literal Devil in Human Form. Do you think that Rocks is "inside" of BB too? For that obvious third Devil Fruit that he will get?Yeah but Diavolo and Doppio have the exact same body. In the case of a third DF, parasitic triplet? I remember some notes about Oda making BB have 3 souls (two being his sisters) but I might be misremembering.Do you think that Rocks is "inside" of BB too? For that obvious third Devil Fruit that he will get?
I wonder if Luffy and Zoro knew about BB's spiritual issues when they addressed him as "they" back in Jaya.In the case of a third DF, parasitic triplet? I remember some notes about Oda making BB have 3 souls (two being his sisters) but I might be misremembering.
They probably noticed something weird but could not put their mind into it.I wonder if Luffy and Zoro knew about BB's spiritual issues when they addressed him as "they" back in Jaya.
Luffy has a surprisingly good intuition when it comes to people, better than Naruto's or Ichigo's in my book, I wonder why and how that is...They probably noticed something weird but could not put their mind into it.
I do not know about Ichigo's intuition as it has been always spot on when it comes to reading people he fights but Naruto's is never really explored.Luffy has a surprisingly good intuition when it comes to people, better than Naruto's or Ichigo's in my book, I wonder why and how that is...
I just wish that Naruto learned a few more Jutsus and grew some common sense regarding Hinata over the timeskip. Luffy actually got REALLY fucking strong over the timeskip and Fishman Island fulfilled its purpose of being a big old victory lap for the Straw Hats. Ichigo, not counting the time between Espada and X-Cution, never really had a timeskip training arc.I do not know about Ichigo's intuition as it has been always spot on when it comes to reading people he fights but Naruto's is never really explored.

The Naruto timeskip was a missed opportunity.I just wish that Naruto learned a few more Jutsus and grew some common sense regarding Hinata over the timeskip.
It was a good return to form after the defeats at Sabaoby and Marinefort.Luffy actually got REALLY fucking strong over the timeskip and Fishman Island fulfilled its purpose of being a big old victory lap for the Straw Hats.
Bleach's timeskip was more for mental growth on Ichigo's part. Him finding out what he truly wants in life and learning to appreciate the ability he once had but ended up losing. He spend a decade being the weird psychic kid who was alienated because of his powers and then he made more friends BECAUSE of said powers and then he lost both. The timeskip was meant to show him learn to appreciate what he had. Growth is not always physical.Ichigo, not counting the time between Espada and X-Cution, never really had a timeskip training arc.
From what I gather, the only thing BB seems to have to hate WB is the fact that WB did not avenge Xebec or even try. However, I doubt that. IMO, BB killed WB for three reasons alone: 1) If he had lived, he would have hunted BB down. 2) He wanted his DF. 3) He wanted his territories. BB still cared for WB in his own way and did not like being disowned as we saw him be sad when it happened. He had come to see him as his father.Blackbeard really loved his father. Oda was edging it during that SBS about why BB's ship was named Saber of Xebec. The coincidences of going after Roger through Ace, killing Whitebeard (did he betray Rocks at God Valley?), and now, he's capturing the hero of the Marines who fought alongside Roger, Garp...
I don’t know why this is suddenly becoming a criticism like it hasn’t been hamfistedly telegraphed since Drum Kingdom when Oda revealed Luffy and Roger shared the D. initial. In fact, Luffy not being Roger’s son (despite the math not working out) was a shock to a lot of the fanbase post-Enies Lobby. Plus the running theme of the importance of family, both biological and found, going back to the first chapter. Besides, all these characters are where they are more in despite who their families are than due to them.I know a lot of manga do this, but I kind of don't like how notable characters all have to be from great families.
Law is a D, and he's just a guy who was born to a married couple of doctors, and even had a younger sister. Unironically, him being a doctor is more important (for theories/predictions and his fruit) than the special initial in his name right now.You people forget the times someone strong was not the child of someone strong or important. Kid was a random punk, Big Mom was born to normal people, Sabo was some low ranking noble's son etc etc. You are acting as if everyone is the result of a super soldier breeding program but you ignore all the times it was not the case.
