So Gunko is (possibly) Brook's daughter. Are they biologically related, or was she adopted?

Admittedly, I just assumed. They clearly have a connection, though. Come to think of it, it's more likely that he was like an older brother than a father to her.

If you want it to. The only real issue is that Imu is still covered in shadow. Also, considering the conversation with Cobra, I doubt it if they were talking about Lili, and it seems that Imu didn’t know everything about Lili, which would make sense if Imu was possessing her. Also, considering Imu’s reaction to her name, I have to think that Imu is not possessing because Imu was surprised.

this had to happen if you think about it. the giants need an excuse to return to their warrior ways and this is it. i could also see this being the excuse for the training arc were some of the less powerful straw hats finally get some well deserved boosts. now if you want an ass pull loki could decide to wake up and show off why he thinks he is the sun god.

so far my guess is that gunko is either his daughter or someone he knew when he was just a regular musician in his home town before he joined the rumbar pirates. all i know is if brook promised gunko he was going to come back one day too then her and laboon could bond over brook vanishing on them.

maybe? im not sure though keep in mind we dont know if his ability is just direct possession of anybody or if you need to do something to trigger it. so unless lili did the thing that allowed her to get possessed my money is still on imu just having a crush on her or being her friend and killing her either on purpose or on accident as part of some plan

Brook was a high ranking member in his country's military so him being famous and admired is not out of the question.

Worth noting that, like Brook, Gunko favours a thrusting style weapon. I believe his combat technique was learned in the so far unnamed kingdom so she might be the daughter of someone from there? I'd guess whoever trained him might be a choice if they planned to do more with Brook's sword techniques.

Also let's not forget we have seen in the past that Brook can hurt things he shouldn't be able to (Big Mom's homies). There's always a chance he pulls off another move like the Big Mom fight where he doesn't win but does seriously annoy someone well above his paygrade.

I'm just surprised the giants decided to burn everything so quickly. And if this is leading to training for the nonmonsters, then I'm here for it. It'd be like a Sabaody 2.0, except everyone is together. As for Loki waking up, it'd just be a continuation of what Luffy has done this entire arc: Arguing with the giants about Loki being chained and responding to all their complaints about Loki being a horrible menace, and how freeing him would lead to disaster with, "Lol, no he's not. Lol, no it won't". And now the kingdom burns while he sleeps. All those giants around him are gonna be pissed. Though I do think that we're going to get something to show why Loki calls himself the sun god, only for Luffy to upstage him, I just think that the fact that things had to get this dire to reach that point is just kind of frustrating, especially since this Loki argument is just a prolonged stalemate.

same here honestly it makes me wonder if there is more to it than we know. because its hard to believe it was this easy to get them to burn all their books including the ones salvaged from ohara and imu only just now got to sending the gods knights over there to do it.

they either have another more secret library where all the real good books are or someone who has them all memorized and can just rewrite them.

i just cant believe it would be this easy without there being some catch. maybe jarul really is hiding something about the past from everyone. that or maybe shanks hanging around for so long was what was keeping them away?

Imagine if there’s a devil fruit for that. Although, wouldn’t Vegapunk/Lilith/Punk Hazard have already stored that info because their whole thing is having a bunch of info, even the forbidden things?

Also, I feel like having ANOTHER secret library to preserve the things from Ohara AGAIN may be reaching ass pull territory, but maybe Oda could make it work. Maybe.

If there was any secret info, I feel like it’s being set up for Loki to reveal it in the event Luffy can actually get through to the giants about him. Which may connect to Shanks as well.
