i feel like vegapunk being alive does not actually matter either way unless his death causes all the satellites to instantly die as well. lilith can just bring back all the satellites and even vegapunk himself since she should have the same knowledge.

I think this is to show that Coby has Supreme King Haki. He is Garp 's successor after all but propably he has not yet mastered it. He might be at the level Luffy was after the time skip where the Supreme King Haki leaked.
I’ve always voiced Imu in my head as having the voice of Claw from the Inspector Gadget cartoon . Or Noob Saibot from Mortal Kombat 11. They sound pretty similar.

That’s the idea. Imu is always shown in the shadows, and I remember earlier ITT having it where Imu’s dialogue is just the kanji on a blank screen until it’s time for Imu to be properly revealed.
