True, though it'd need a big-ass bubble down there permanently and that'd really stand out to mermaids and Fish Men, you'd think one of them would've mentioned it to someone at some point. Also with all this underwater stuff, I guess that means mermaids and Fish Men were just aware of all of these underwater ruins and never bothered to tell anyone.
Would it though? Are the fish men so prolific to be aware of the whole sea floor? And would they have time while living under the threat of slavers?

I like the theory the island or at least the vicinity of it makes Devil Fruit users fall ill. As far as we know, Buggy was the only Devil Fruit user on Roger's ship who made it to Laugh Tale but he never stepped foot there since he had to stay behind due to falling ill with something. Toki was the other member, but she asked to return to Wano with her children after falling ill, so it's uncertain if that was just coincidence or what.

This would make for a nice little callback to where Luffy said he had never been sick before, which if DF users get sick near Laugh Tale, would make this an interesting dilemma as something has gone wrong.

Interesting, so by that logic, we should see the final showdown(s) between Luffy, Blackbeard, and Shanks by 2027 at the latest.
Well the World Government absolutely has to have a CP agent in Loadstar Island, so the moment a big name pirate lands there they drop everything and make a B-line for the second to last island with everything.

So at minimum it will be Luffy (and Grand Fleet, I expect them to start moving as soon as someone finds out Luffy is going to Loadstar Island), Blackbard, Shanks, Presumably the Cross Guild because Buggy knows how the 4 Road Poneglyphs work and knows about Zou and Wano having one, so Crocodile can sneak those two at least.

The biggest hurdle for most of the endgame powers might be actually reading the things. Roger did need Oden to translate for him IIRC.

Luffy has Robin
Blackbeard..has to have -something- in his pocket, he didn't name his ship after Xebbec by accident and I think Xebbec had some sort of Information about the Poneglyphs.
Shanks and Buggy need..somebody that can translate the Poneglyphs for them.

It's funny....for all their bluster Law and Kid kind of had zero chance because they can't translate poneglyphs.

I wouldn't be surprised if Blackbeard pivots and goes after the Ancient Weapons now that he has Cesar Clown .

Two parties to be mad at here. Studio Wit for their boring color choice, and IGN for clickbaiting and manufacturing controversy.

Let’s hope Oda remembers he set that up because eventually things will end up in the hands of the monster duo/trio. That’s always how this works.

As for the chapter pretty interesting to see that Vegapunk worked to create a plan, but I guess they weren’t planning for the Gorosei to just brute force their way to destroy everything and disrupt his broadcast, even without considering how Luffy would accelerate the demolition plan.

Also, I think it’s safe to assume that the Mother Flame being used to power Uranus, the third ancient weapon, is now confirmed.

Finally, Vegapunk saying that he wants the Straw Hats to find The One Piece just confirms in my mind that the stuff that was written as being “cut out” or “disrupted” was because Oda realized that everything (or at least too much) would click about the endgame too early for the readers in regards to Luffy being the one to find the treasure and be the one to change the world with it, leading Oda to shift gears.

Still, we’re going to Elbaf! All that’s next is a few weeks/months to go over the fallout and aftermath around the world before what could easily end up being “the never ending arc”. I expect bounties to go up by a lot. Except for Chopper.

Vegapunk took a shit on the world government
Vegapunk told everbody the shit the world government doesn't ever want to hear
Vegapunk left a shit post telling his future self to go die

Vegapunk would 100% have Kiwi Farms account.

Backfill chapter. Really about explaining when and how Vegapunk concocted this whole "dead man's trigger" speech. Nothing worth commenting on.

Uh oh..somebody is getting Futa Robin Doshin.
Is that what it’s called?

Just like Roger and Whitebeard. Minus the “go die” part.

Well, we got the part about Vegapunk saying he wants the Straw Hats to find the treasure, so that’s new. Guess Oda found a way to say that Luffy is the key to the endgame without tipping his hand too soon.
