Honestly, it is my headcanon that we did not see Deku and Ochako marry purely to avoid a riot.
That makes no fucking sense especially since Deku/Ochako shippers are maulding right now due to lack of evidence they're even together. Every single MHA shipper is unhappy right now, you'd hate to see it lol. Funny how Horikoshi became a mangaka like his hero Oda only to not be able to keep his creation consistent and enjoy it for what it is. It's like he saw the discourse over Attack on Titan and Tokyo Ghoul and didn't want that to happen so he chickened out to write a safe, sterile ending because he kept moving the goalposts to the point he forgot it. Also the Deku-bashing lol.

Shounen Jump is really banking on One Piece lasting a little longer until they can figure out how to save themselves. They want that next big hit (a.k.a. Dragon Ball) so badly they've put a lot of pressure on their mangaka to excel past their limits only to be shocked and disappointed that they stumble and falter doing so. Horikoshi is just another victim to that mentality especially since MHA was his third-and-final attempt to stay with them, I will not be surprised if he puts down that pencil/tablet pen for a long time and "mysteriously" vanishes himself while out playing Pokémon Go.

I pressume he receives many strongly worded letters from fanatic and vocal fujoshi.

This is stupid. Ichigo is a translator that moonlights as a superhero. Naruto became a warrior king. Deku became the a legendary hero amongst legendary heroes. Luffy conquered a few places. Not by punching the citizens but by befriending them. The poster knows nothing of what they are talking about.

Honestly, it is my headcanon that we did not see Deku and Ochako marry purely to avoid a riot. They are propably married as it was one of the few canon ships. Also, he has been elevated to legend status as the guy who saved the entire world. Things are not ideal but having your dream job and everyone in the world singing your praises is hardly a bad deal. I think that in the eyes of some, anything less than a protagonist becoming a god king is "being a loser". You might not be satisfied with the ending (and that is fair) but Deku should be happy with his life. Things were not perfect, but with hard work and determination, he became the greatest hero in history and got to enjoy a peaceful life knowing that he made the world a better place.

And I mean come on! It is not like he is in some black company wishing for the Grim Reaper to take him or anything. He works for the prestigious institution he loves the most with coworkers that love him too, gets paid a great salary (propably), has a lot of freedom on the teaching methods and he inspires kids to be better just as he once was. He is happier than most people who call him a "wage cuck".

Naruto wanted to get the respect of Konoha. He got that after beating Pain. And he became Hokage after finally beating Sasuke (and losing an arm). Two childhood dreams: realized.

From what little I’ve read about Bleach, Ichigo just wanted to have the power to be able to protect his loved ones. He’s been able to do that and more. And he’s married with a kid.

I’ve never read MHA, but from what I’ve heard, Deku seems like he’s in a place where I don’t think he can complain about his life.

As for One Piece, everything I’ve heard about the conclusion, such as “eye patch guy”, “finding the treasure”, “final battle that’s just Marineford on all the drugs”, “Luffy’s real dream that needs him to be Pirate King in order to make a reality”, “funny story”, all I can picture with the ending is just the straw hats just chilling and enjoying life with their dreams achieved.

As for talk of “loser” and “wagecuck”, I feel like I can only see this as fans in Japan and fans in the West wanting different things in their manga/anime.

Sounds like what happened with Naruto.

Given the amount of Notes the Took over the Series..fucker could publish a book on One for All and be a millionaire. He is definitely teaching just for fun.

@Incecticyder, you make good points, but we have a separate thread for My Hero Academia.

Anyway, today is Rebecca's birthday.

I am just saying that you can praise One Piece without criticing other series you desperately misunderstand. Let us say we had a small crossover episode and call it a day.

Seriously, these guys are just as bad as those that think One Piece pushes the woke agenda when in reality it is even handed on all sides.

Posers.

I do not want to see what happens with them when One Piece ends. We could have the perfect ending and they will still ruin it with the discourse.

Nonsense. Some people will just never be satisfied. What is better? To save the world and then keep working a job you are passionate about and makes you happy? Or save the world and expect goverment handouts for the rest of your life, becoming a parasite in the process, just so you will not be called a "wage cuck" by some loser on a forum? All those protagonists saved the world and got a career they actually like to feed their families out of it. If that is wrong then I do not want to be right.

Luffy is going to achieve his goal and one day retire to spend the rest of his life fishing or something. Or die fighting an enemy. No ending is going to stop these guys from saying "WORST ENDING EVAAARR!!!!!". Why listen to them?

I haven't listened to them. Honestly, I have an idea in my head where I can just place that in until the actual ending takes place. Especially considering that Oda is really looking to take his time getting there.

have we seen conquers force revert zoans back to human form before or is that new? Cause I don't remember seeing that before.
Very late to this which also presumably means spoiler tags are over too.

I think the use of Conquerer's Haki doing this here is odd and worth thinking about. While we know that strong enough Haki of that type stops people and Joy Boy presumably is about as good as it gets it still should not banish them home and making Imu reel too seems odd. The Imu side of things could be a few factors, I quite like the idea that as ruler of the world all credible challenges impact Imu no matter how far. Looking directly at his underlings though and that only those summoned were banished I'm wondering if they ever were there at all. Instead I think they had bodies physically manifested out of Haki that they piloted and when the Joy Boy Haki was deployed it shattered that shit fully.

The notion that they were remote piloting avatars likely sounds odd but we know from Zoro that sufficient mundane competence can manifest figures from mythology as he does. While he's projecting it from himself the idea that sufficiently advanced Haki can go further and create independent bodies doesn't seem utterly crazy.

Taking it further and remembering that the reaction of Roger's crew when finding out the Truth (tm) was to laugh I think it's possible there's some connection between Imu's status as ruler of the world, the weird powers he and his direct underlings have and the "vacant" throne. I think Imu is limited in his movement to the degree that he and possibly a minimum number of his underlings cannot go out and get shit done. They're stuck there or at least stuck enough that going out has problems. Remembering back to Film Red there was debatably an outright "fuck Covid lockdowns" if watched with that in mind so Imu being full blown NEET shut in his room seems like the kind of thing Oda would consider an awful life and one that the freedom seeking crew of Roger would laugh about. King of the world and cannot step outside the door of his own palace is a good punchline.

They were completely gone from the room when they were summoned, so they're not like replicas. I liked Tekking's explanation in how it's likely that one Elder can summon the others from anywhere in the world, but once their forms are shattered or their powers get weakened even for a moment, they get sent back from where they came. Saturn had already been in the area to make landfall, so only he gets left behind.

Do they exist at all then? Or are they just manifestations of Imu's Haki and he deploys one of them in a more direct manner to call down the others?

There was a big performance not just around the Marines staying away when Saturn was deployed but when he carried out his summoning.

It was probably just a simple case of "These forms are too godly for such peons to lay eyes upon" than anything super deep. It's why Marines of a certain class are okay, as though they've earned the privilege to gaze upon and speak to these higher beings. I also really hate the idea that Haki can just literally do anything, even create entirely new beings. The fact they seemed shocked and mildly argumentative when Imu wanted to nuke Lulusia. If they were just constructs, they wouldn't do that.

People like those destroy a series credibility by telling every normie that the ending is bad. People who could have liked a series are turned off by everyone telling them, falsely, that the ending sucks. Having a manga 's reputation tank because of "fans" like these is stupid. Oda is clearly putting a lot of work into One Piece but retards like those that screeched when Bonney unveiled her Nika form are ruining it for everyone. Both those who complain about endings and those complain about new thing are the same. They yell before they think and never seem to pay the price. That is why I try to mock them every chance I get.

So did Jupiter teleport back to Mary Geoise, or did he get punched so hard that he rocketed through more than half the length of the New World?

More likely the summoning was simply dispelled. There are various ways it could have happened. Being hit hard enough to send him flying put him in the same shock as those hit by Joyboy's Hakki. Hitting the water may have dispelled the summoning as well. My final idea is that Saturn acts as an anchor for the summoning spell and moving too far away from the anchor cancels it.

The exact mechanics on how the summoning works and persists is still unclear. All we know is that it requires either specifically Saturn or any of the other five elders to be physically present in a location to initiate it.

Doesn't really matter the how, he finally got to sit down and envelope his flat buttocks in those comfy seats for once.

That is the face of a man who has to begrudgingly stand back up after tasting the forbidden fruit.

He's a Celestial Dragon. Nothing is stopping that man from ordering a pod of Kung-Fu Dugongs being clubbed to death, skinned and having their fur line a chair tailor made to snuggly seat his ass.

I like how he moved the ship with the back blast from his own punch.
I like to think that with his strength, Garp could always do that, but seeing the Coup de Burst and Luffy's Marineford entrance influenced him enough to pull off the flying ship maneuver.

100%. He probably wondered what it was and that it looked cool... so I gotta do it.
