Future sight would be ideal for dealing with Van Augur. He could anticipate where Augur will warp to with his devil fruit.

If there ever was a chance for the bottom tier to get something, it'd be against Blackbeard, considering that everything about him and his crew is "evil Straw Hats", I think they even have folks in the same roles as the Straw Hats. Shanks meanwhile, looks like it might be something just for Luffy since it's a reunion that's been built since the first arc.

I am all in favour of the Evil Counterpart trope but right now One Piece has so many that it is insane.

nami has zeus which i think helps her out a fair amount. usopp should be getting his boosts soon. chopper also might get more boosts soon since if any of the vegapunks survive i could see them helping him out.

yeah i think most of the straw hats will get their chance to prove themselves against their evil counterpart in blackbeards crew.

though i could see shanks and his crew challenging the straw hats to a fight to see if they are worthy/strong enough to keep going something like a davey back fight where only the winner is allowed to go to laugh tale.
 
I'm wondering how the matchups would go for the Straw Hats/Blackbeard pirates in full
Kuzan's going to bail in one way or another by the time they tussle.
Luffy vs Teach is a lock, as are Usopp vs Augur, Chopper vs Doc Q, and Jimbei vs Burgess.
Zoro vs Shiryu is just about a given as well, given their focus on swordsmanship.
Despite his navigator role, I see Laffitte going up against Brook. A flyer vs someone who can practically fly.
For Nami, it's tempting to pit her against Devon due to their personalities. But if she fought Vasco instead, it could lead to an amusing callback to her ability to drink people under the table (i.e. Whiskey Peak).
Robin can take Devon instead. Both do tend to lean on subterfuge.
Sanji could handle Wolf the same way he did Wadatsumi back on Fishman Island.
That leaves Franky with Pizarro, I suppose.

im honestly surprised zeus is even still alive but i guess even though big mom was defeated everything she gave part of her soul to still lives on. unless him still being around is meant to hint at big mom showing up again later on.

Zeus gave us this at least.
 
I would not say that it is a bad power up. Problem is that her staff is underutilised. It has fire powers and ice powers both but uses only lightning powers. Hopefully Nami will use more of the powers of her very versatile weapon.

Living, sentient weapons have their advantages and disadvantages. Zeus can enhance and direct the attacks but he is fallible and can make mistakes when it comes to understanding Nami 's intentions. The new Clima-Tact is an insanely versatile weapon even without Zeus. With him, the possibilities are nearly endless. Also, as a sentient weapon, the Zeus Clima-Tact is like a teammate as much as any other (in some ways more so) and Nami will have to learn to work together with him while wielding him. Add the fact that Zeus is not as familiar with different weather phenomena and the science behind them and you get someone who will not be able to access his full power without some practice. Zeus might know clouds but he propably is not very used to the fire and wind aspects of the weather and will need Nami for that.

In conclusion, Zeus Clima-Tact is an upgrade but its full power can only be unleash with practice. It is not just a cheat that grands victory.
 
Some more cast for season 2 announced.
“Raised by Wolves” actor Daniel Lasker will play Mr. 9, “Batwoman’s” Camrus Johnson has been cast as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn (“Warrior”) is set as Miss Valentine and “Late Night With the Devil” star David Dastmalchian will take on the role of Mr. 3.

Also apparently they're going African or South Asian for Vivi.
 
Robin is supposed to be russian, but I wonder if they will push on Oda hard to make it be some Ukranian uggo because Putler wins otherwise. I just don't want a Witcher Yennefer or Triss situation. The line was held pretty well with Nami but that might be the exception, because Robin is supposed to be smart that means she can't be attractive either, it will be some albino with a big wide nose instead of a flat sharp point.
