Those stocks have been at rock bottom since Marineford. Mihawk is an East Blue merchant until end of series.
 
Black flames surrounding Lucci's new "awakened" form are the same as those of Elders' monster forms. I've thought this suspicious before, but this chapter finally put them next to each other, and they are drawn 100% identically.

Elders seem to be unable to disobey Imu. They might disagree, but even when he acts like a total child, it seems they treat any direct order from him as if it was a divine revelation.

And as I mentioned before, Lucci suddenly made an U-turn from defecting to being even more fanatically loyal than before after the timeskip.

I wonder if there is some sort of brainwashing power at work here. Though Lucci being clearly shocked by Mars' appearance seems to contradict the idea.

A bunch of Haki effects are also drawn identically. Don't take it so seriously.
 
Honestly, I'm kind of disappointed with the Gorosei, I felt a lot more threat from Big Mom that from all the Gorosei together. As of now, they feel like kind of a letdown and bringing in all together was probably not the greatest idea unless the grand plan is to have them job quick and leave the scene for Blackbeard as big bad.

Honestly though, hasn’t it been a thing where battles go on for a long time, and we’re just waiting for the villains to hit another gear in order to give Luffy an actual challenge.

I’m really starting to appreciate how JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure handles its fights once they introduced stands.

Again, biggest problem with the world goverment is they don’t seem like a threat ever. Remember Wano where the entire plan was come in a deal with whoever still stood and then just left?

And heck the only reason Blackbeard is likely to be a threat is he’ll take away Luffy’s power. If the only way Luffy is going to be threatened is by removing his power there is a problrm. A big problem.

Call it the most meta joke, but when I saw Guernica trying to stop Luffy, I thought he looked like Frieza in the manga. I find it funny that Krillin* got a Super Saiyan power-up by laughter.

"Fans" either want a logical/scientifuic power up or go full rage like. I find it ingenious that Oda went from Rubber to Rubberhose as the powerup.

I remember Luffy yelling "This is my peak!" but I have to wonder if Luffy will get more powerups since SSJ wasn't the end for Goku.
