Does he ever not?
It's been a minute since the last time, think it was the sake cup sharing of the Straw Hat grand Fleet

Saturn being some sort of an earth spider (tsuchigumo) is clearly an interesting decision which I love and can't help but wonder if other Elders are gonna be based on youkais that share the same elements as their planet names. I've seen it being discussed on JP side of the internet, so I thought it might be interesting to share it.

What you need to know is that some planets in Japanese language use the elements of water, gold, fire, earth and wood. The Five Elders share these elements:

Saturn -> 星 -> Ushi-oni (or Tsuchigumo (蜘蛛)) (Earth)

Possible suggestions that have the related kanjis:

Ju Peter -> Jupiter -> 星 -> Kodama (霊) (Wood)
V. Nusjuro -> Venus -> 星 -> Nio/Kongourishiki (剛力士) (Gold)
Warcury -> Mercury -> 星 -> Umibouzu (坊主) (Water)
Marcus Mars -> 星 -> Three-legged crow (三足烏) (doesn't have any 火 in its name, but is always representing the Sun) (Fire)

My 2 cents is that I feel like Imu resembles Umibouzu the most, meanwhile Warcury's mammoth-like features are supposed to represent something like Baku if we're still leaning into Japanese mythology.
Shame this ended up being wrong, but it was easily the best theory until the chapter dropped.

You know, there’s still the chance the Imu part of the theory ends up being true. Also, can’t wait to see these guys in something resembling a quality visual. And I just noticed these guys have the same smoke ring Luffy has when in Gear 5.

Knowing that Oda went for some really obscure freaks (minus Shai'hulud) he's gonna do some shit like make Imu a Jötunn or something wild like that.

Ethanbaron got such a badass fruit. That centaur hybrid form is sick too, and he already has the best speed feats out of the five elders. I can't wait for Zoro to make contact with him. Also, I would love for Robin to be the one to engage Marcus Mars since he was involved with the Ohara incident.

The Spoilers fucking buried the lead

Vegapunk is forcing the world to watch a recording of him make and drink Coffee.
And now I’m seeing this mega important broadcast being labeled as “making coffee” like it’s a teenager hiding his porn stash (or at least somebody doing a better job than Vaush).

Also, considering that Luffy was seconds away from getting eaten, I’m still thinking that the treasure is something that results in a stat boost for Luffy and maybe the rest of the Straw Hats, considering The Gorosei in animal form have the same smoke ring as Gear 5, just black, and Zoro has dibs on Gandhi horse.

Also, considering the close call, I’m wondering if Laugh Tale has a room of space and time since Luffy was almost eaten, said Gear 5 was his peak, and I got flashbacks to when Marineford happened and Luffy had that crisis where he felt that he was weak after facing people out of his league.

As an aside, I can see One Piece being around 1200 chapters max considering it was about the 600 chapter mark when the timeskip happened, and Oda called that “end of the first half”.

90ish more chapters is an awfully short amount time to find the last poneglyph, the One Piece and tie up all of the other loose ends though. I could see the series ending around 1350-1400.
