Watching tonight's episode..I can not express how much I love the "Says incredibly creepy things in a completely normal manner" Quirk Robin picked up along the line.
I mean Robin is basically normalized to the horrors of the World and dedicated to the destruction of the WG.

It’s like Nami hating the status quo because she suffered under pirates and the Marines.

Oh i aint complaining, its just a funny quirk that i dont remember her having pre timeskip

>Nika is the Sun God
>Luffy is Nika
>M&M went to the moon

He’s gonna come back at the climax of the story with the Moon goddess isn’t he. My guess is that the moon goddess is gonna have the Mizu Mizu Fruit.

Makes sense, as the moon's gravity has a huge effect on the tides.

I dig Sanji's moment, he earned it, and I think it's time for the three (four now) to show they are on par with the Admirals. There was always an out with Fujitora never fighting for real because he also doesn't like the World Government or Marines, but now in the home stretch let the others kick Admiral ass.

But what I wonder is with the 1,2,3 heirarchy fight rule, are they now implying Lucci 2.0 is stronger than an Admiral?

Has Zoro lost enough blood to paint a room red? If not then he ain't being serious about the fight.

Rob Lucci is a fucking king.

It's hilarious how much drama's been generated from dickwaving between Zoro and Sanji fans. Imagine how much cope they'd have to invent to justify Zoro failing to solo a long-outdated antagonist while Sanji defeats an OG Admiral.

On one hand its retarded as shit.
On the other hand..Sanji and Zoro fans hating each other and taking every chance to dunk on each other..is technically appropriate given how Sanji and Zoro act towards each other.

Saturn fucked up so bad it boggles the mind

It bares repeating, the only reason the WG will be overthrown is because they are more brain dead than Luffy.
It's one of those antagonist writing things that make you wonder:

"Is Saturn a/Are the Gorosei jobbers?"

"Did Oda poorly write him him into the Egghead arc?"

"Is the overall state of the One Piece world, especially with a divine force of chaos like Luffy running around, too much for even a Eldritch being like Saturn to handle? Thus, his utter downfall comes the one time he leaves Mariejois in almost half a century?"

I'm thinking and laughing that it might be the third thought.

Rob got a power boost with the whole awakening devil fruit. Kizaru didn't get a power boost. But I do want to see what an awaken logia can do.

Until we see Lucci tank Asura i wouldnt read too much into it, after all Kizaru got his brains scrambled by luffy not to long ago

And then there’s the fujoshis.
Fujoshis should get nuked along with Mary Geoise.

Kizaru is also shown to be troubled. Lucci literally is the bitch boy of the government and would grind orphans into paste should a Celestial Dragon mutter to themselves.

All of the Admirals have a varying degree of their belief in Justice. Lucci is basically the only person in the series who openly worships the World Government, besides Garp. I’m expecting all, but one Admiral to defect from the WG.

Eh. I am pretty sure Garp likes things being stable and peaceful, which the WG does accomplish on the surface. Which could be a huge plot hole because he should have seen enough of the WG's darker shit that the WG would clearly fall out of his moral compass and not warrant his loyalty. But then again he might just be loyal to the marines, who he might view as a separate peacekeeping force but... and we could go in circles about this all day.

The reality is that the morally righteous Garp (and the morally righteous marines in general) could be an after thought writing wise that wasn't seriously considered when the WG was created to be the monstrous big bad they have become in the story. But hey, most modern day soldiers are also good people who do shady shit and are told its for a greater cause when they are in reality just working for objectively evil people who hide behind so many proxies that the soldiers will likely never hear about them let alone meet them. So maybe that is Oda's grander narrative about the marines as well.

>Monkey D. “Don’t let a single slave escape the Genocide Hunt” Garp
>Monkey D. “Dirt naps for pregnant mothers” Garp
>Monkey D. “Death to Ohara” Garp
>Monkey D. “Don’t lift a finger to save Ace” Garp

Garp cheers as a Celestial Dragon orders him to murder rape a family to steal their daughters candy.

I am pretty sure Garp has explicitly said he will not defend Celestial dragons and outright vocally hates them. He just values the peace they bring, even if its founded on a lie.

Which makes him very human in that respect.
