Not only will Kaido return if anyone was going to die by being punted by Luffy into a Volcano it would be him. As he is straight up the only character that actually got his dream granted by Luffy. He wanted to lose to Joy Boy. And the story of that battle is being taught as an epic story to all of Wano.

But as said, I assume he’s coming back. Because Luffy will kick off ths greatest war and I’m betting all the Yonko will be in his corner...

Blackbeard straight up said to Luffy that some fights aren’t worth fighting so I could see them putting things aside for a second to take down Imu and then immediately pick back up fighting afterwards

Inb4 Imu gets so throughly blindsided by Blackbeard that it ends up being Imu and Luffy vs Blackbeard.
 
I see it as a three-way battle tbh. Blackbeard has done enough notoriously shady stuff that Luffy wouldn't agree to disagree with to fight a common enemy. For sure Luffy's not going to like him should he find out he killed a fellow crewmate, or should he end up killing one of his crewmates in front of him (the more likely scenario short of a mutiny).

I really doubt that Imu would do anything to help Luffy, much less join him in a fight.

I been calling this for years, with Cross Guild and Shanks in on shit it might be more than just 3 way.

I really doubt that Imu would do anything to help Luffy, much less join him in a fight.

Once it becomes clear that Imu is losing I bet he tries to switch sides and throw the 5 Elder Stars under the bus. I think if he had the ability to fight himself I don't think he would be so obsessed with hiding Laugh Tale.
 
Oh that reminds me, how many more episodes do we have before Imu's first speaking role? Think they'll reveal his VA then, or keep it a secret for a while? Last I saw that happen was Ushio & Tora where Hakumen no Mono's VA was a mystery until the end, though enough people had guessed it was Megumi Hayashibara, which made me wonder if that'll also happen to at least keep Imu's gender a secret (nevermind crossdressing voices happen often).

Pretty sure it is going to be Luffy v BB v Shanks v Buggy v Imu v Akainu and Companyat some point

Unless the secret is hiding it is all part of a grand treasure hunt.

A part of me honestly thinks 800 years ago was just the then version of whatever the fight Shanks and Luffy has with each other.

Imu has a hat on ice and we kniw Luffy has to give his back after becoming a great pirate.

What greater pirate is there than King of the World?

My guess is they’ll use a text to speech program, be it an old version of Microsoft Sam, or whatever Stephen Hawking used with his wheelchair.

I’ve always felt it’d be Luffy and Shanks against Blackbeard in a 2 on 1. And after beating Blackbeard, Luffy returns the hat before going to claim the One Piece.

That or Luffy unleashes hell in the event Blackbeard kills Shanks in a duel or something.

I have no idea where the sides are gonna come down at anymore, especially since..B+D were chilling with Shanks not long ago and now they are coming for Luffy. Which means Shanks fucked off from Elbaf after cucking Kid (I don't think he ded btw) or Shanks sent them for Luffy..which is weird given that Shanks could have met with Luffy at the end of Wano.

Part of me thinks that there will be clear "Sides" at the start of the Final Battle..and things will devolve into even more Chaos there because..Zoro will want to face off against Mihawk cause ya know..however the 10 BB commanders vs the 10 Straw Hats is so clean a comparison that they absolutely have to face off.

I think..The One Piece is..more than one thing really.

Oda comfirmed that there is treasure there (because Luffy deserves treasure at the end).
Oden confirmed that the history of the world is there in his journal.
Imu acts like the One Piece is a threat to his power base..and is something that he just can't erase like Lulusia or Dump a Buster Call on.
It is something that made Gol and crew bust a nut laughing.
It is something that I am 99% sure only a real D. can use..because the two people I think have the most information on it are Whitebeard and Shanks..and Whitebeard intended for Ace to claim it..and Shanks made no move..until Luffy became strong enough to be an Emperor.

Nah. Music cuts, black screen, absolute silence and a speech bubble with characters in white, and then the music takes a noticeable turn in mood.

I think it'll be less Imu trying to change sides as much as a Palpatine/Anakin scenario where he'll try to make a deal to get Luffy to serve him.

Except Luffy won’t take that because he wants to be the freest man alive, and serving somebody would be the antithesis of that.

My guess: it’s something related to the old kingdom. Namely some ancient weapons and regalia to take into battle. And the laughter was in response to learning the steps taken to keep the One Piece out of the hands of the world government.

Also, I think Zoro will fight Mihawk before the treasure is claimed so the Pirate King can claim to have the best swordsman in the world.

Now watch me be horribly wrong in this prediction.
