Could perhaps touch on the old Shambles trick where Law mixed in inanimate objects to people's bodies but Buggy can integrate things in a positive manner to his form. Him being a combining character who integrates actually strong allies into himself would be amusing. Especially since as a King of the Pirates candidate there's some thematic flavour there.
He does sort of do that already since he can become a car. But that might be reaching a little.
The car was what I was thinking of but being able to integrate living (or at least animate) others or potentially even elemental sources might be the extra step further. Extra fun if he needs only trace amounts for the effect, he could become someone able to beat up Logia users without needing Haki.
