Finally sat down to watch the episode. I admittedly haven't been watching lately, but is it just me, or is there a bit of a filter-effect whenever Luffy's on-screen to give it that "old-school" 2D cel look? I'm not complaining if that's the case, I think the attention to detail is really sweet of them to do. Kaido also stops being CGI in those scenes, I noticed (unless they are going the Paperman route because that needs to be more of a thing). Now I get they are trying to emulate the rubber-hose animation, but unfortunately, that particular technique that was prevalent in animation up until the '80s/'90s is rather lost to time at this point. They can get the look down since it's all about the squash and stretch, but the illusion of weight and timing is all over the place (Luffy pulling Kaido up through the ceiling didn't go as hard here like it did in the manga, for instance, but then when he's being smashed onto the ground like a garter snake being whipped around by a mongoose, it's so good). They almost have it, which is probably why they go all erratic with the camera and framing because it's still a shounen, but they have to hide their blunders.

But I legit had a blast watching, it's some of the best One Piece has ever been if you ask me. People don't watch the show due to length and mainly how it looks, but it's pretty stylized, especially nowadays, that I'm almost tempted to start posting how it looks now whenever they say "It just looks weird". Then here comes this episode and it's off-the-walls wacky.

The scene with Hiyori and Orochi was so fucking good, though, why's no one talking about it? It's so well-acted, so well-paced, you can feel the tension in that scene.

One of the best parts of watching on Crunchyroll is that one of the top comments is usually a title card time stamp so you can skip the OP and recaps to save time.

Well, on the one hand Nami's tits are smaller, but on the other hand, she's still a redhead and not black, so it's not as bad as you think.
Her adoptive sister took the nog bullet for her
