Honestly I feel it's too late to introduce a new character to become a Straw Hat anyway without them feeling like a Mary Sue. If we get one at all and it isn't just stupid baiting, seeing how Oda can't even keep up with the current Straw Hats post-timeskip (the fucking state of Chopper; even Robin, who was a walking Macguffin for years, actually got to do something now), it's going to Vivi or something crazy nobody saw coming.

Nothing of any real importance, but I timestamped the video where Felix talks about getting into One Piece now because it's everywhere in Tokyo and he finally gave it a shot. That's how I finally started watching and reading it years ago after visiting Tokyo and seeing it everywhere on food and drinks and Tokyo Tower all the Akihabara stores. From the episodes he showed it looks like he's on the Baratie arc so he hasn't even hit the kino moment of Arlong Park that sucks you in.

My fiancé just reached Arlong Park himself, he's been enjoying it. His favorite Straw Hat thus far is Zoro, with Sanji and Luffy battling it out for second place. Sanji was quick in winning him over.

Gear 5 is the most Luffy response to the Super Saiyan mode and I love it. I would never expected RubberHOSE to be Oda's response.
Also Oda showed the idea of a all black Haki form is stupid with Pica.
