Well, look at the state of the world ignoring Wano.

The World Government has disbanded one of the Major powers
The Revolutionaries made a move at the Reverie.
One of the handful of people in the world that Know the Secret of Laugh Tale(Garp) is currently talking with the Mermaid King, and the World Government really can't do much about him because Garp is strong enough to kick the shit out of assassins, and they can't do it publicly because he is a Hero of a Generation of the Marines.

Shit got real before Big Mom and Kaido made an Alliance, or before Luffy awakening his Fruit, you add in Luffy beating Kaido 1 v 1, Law and Kid defeating Big Mom, Luffy being 3/4s the way to Unlocking the Final Stretch, and The Balance of Power in the New World will have been flipped completely upside down because there is now someone who has surpassed the Strongest Living Being in the world.

Luffy going full Bugs Bunny and using Kaido as a jump rope is just the beginning of the end, Luffy's desire to reach Laugh Tale necessitates causing the complete collapse of the World Government, because whatever is there, whatever made Gol D Rodger laugh...scares the World Government to the point of changing his name, possibly changing the Islands Name (I refuse to think Raftel was just a mis-translation, that wouldn't have lasted 20 years without SOMEONE noticing cause 🧩 ) and targeting any child that could possibly have been his, and starting a war with Whitebeard in order to Finish the job.

I think after Wano we will get a quick breather arc, and then shit is going to go insane and not stop until Luffy Punches Im.

The spoilers for this chapter were somewhat held back. I even thought the spoiler for the chapter's title was a troll post by the leaker.

But hot damn, Raizo and Jinbe were magnificient this week. Raizo especially. He used to be the one that needed saving, now he's the one who saves.

First thing I remember about him is how he got jobbed by Kyros and didn't appear until the end of the arc when they were going back over who got beat.

I unironically hope that she does at least join the Grand Fleet so she can at least get one good hit on Sakazuki by invoking Her Mythic Zoan Fruit Magic Powers to use an IceFire Fist and punch a hole in his chest.

Maybe. I could see Borsalino/Kizaru being the World Government's inside admiral and eventually being instructed to start a cull.

Issho/Fujitora not so much because his issues with the way things work actually at times line up with Sakazuki's. They disagree about a lot, borderline aggressively at times, but it's not a killing level conflict. Debatably there's echoes of Garp and Sengoku's relationship.

Ryokugyu no idea. We have very little information about him at the moment.
