I don't expect Shanks to have much screentime in the new movie. I think he'll just appear in the singer character's flashbacks or something.

Anyway, FUCK YEAH KID AND LAW TOOK THAT BITCH DOWN

Is it sad..that I was hoping Kids ultimate attack would be

"UNITED STATES OF TRAAAAAAAAAAAAASH"

Did Kid just make a mother fucking railgun?
That or he used his magnet powers to build a Laser Canon, I hope it is the first because Kid going full Mass Effect at the end of the series and blasting Kizaru with a seastone bullet that hits relativistic speeds would be fucking badass.

Because Kid is going be on the Strawhats Side now because he helped murder big Mom..which because Luffy solo'd Kaido means that he ends up a commander instead of a captain.

Not because I dislike Kid or think he is weak..but because Kid getting forced into the Strawhat Grand fleet against his will and bitching the entire time would be hilarious.

Problem with Kid is that he doesn't have enough background story (read: flashback) yet to show who he and his crew is. Compared that with Law whose backstory was explored in extensive length at Karakuri and Dressrosa
Chalk Law's backstory, ties to Doflamingo, and his prominence at this juncture as a whole up to his popularity. Oda thought Kid would've played a bigger role than he did but Law probably took that spot instead. We probably won't see anything resembling Kid's motivation until after Wano, if at all. Hell, we still don't know why he raided Totto Land. If anything it'll either end up in the SBS, a data book, or a light novel a la Ace's Story or Novel Law.

On that note, I'm curious as to what the hell the Rocky Port Incident was. All we have is that Koby was there and saved a lot of civilians, that Law was behind it, and that it most likely ended up with him taking the hearts of 100 pirates and handing it over to the Navy (I pieced this together from the fact that the first mention of it was at the Seven Warlord discussion in Chapter 700 and that the whole heart thing is what got him the position).

Let me say about 1/3rd into the Zou Arc English Dub, and this is by far the most beautiful arc in the English Dub I’ve seen. The acting is excellent. My heart broke so many times for the Minks, Sanji, etc.

I hate when people fucking diss the English dub.

It sucks how I gotta wait six months for Whole Cake Island to properly begin, but I must be good and patient if I want more of this beauty.

Sugar's fuck-up is just a blemish on an otherwise-good dub. I honestly do like the dub, I just hate how often it's gone on hiatus.

Also when the fuck is Netflix going to get more arcs up? I think it just barely finishes Alabasta on there.

I actually hope the anime gives us more of the fight. It was fairly heavily offscreen and while I will not deny the awesomeness of what we got I'd like to see more.

The other problem is Kid and his crew are villains. Let's not forget we have confirmation he used those powers to crucify people in the recent past. Law did some dodgy shit but we've not had outright "yeah tortured people fairly horrifically" for him the same way we did for Kid with the closest being his heart thefts. Now don't get me wrong, Oda is good at sympathetic villains. But I had initially seen Kid as someone who ended up being a foil for Law in the finale stage of the plot as a subordinate of a bigger villain. A pair of Luffy's rivals fighting one another rather than him. Now, after it's been confirmed he told Kaido to lick his nuts rather than serve, that seems unlikely.

However from what we have seen Kid is one of the more normal pirates in terms of his morality just like Bege. He might be an ally but he is not a heroic character. So I don't know if I could see him as an ally down the line unless we end with Pirates of the Carribean 3 style pirate alliance.

That said I would like some more stuff with him. But that is a strength of Oda's work, most arcs you want to see more of the survivors on all sides.

Also pretty damn awesome fight. More please. A really nice touch is despite us already seeing Big Mam exhausted this arc makes it look different again. There's a clear difference between her Wedding Cake rampage and the drain on her in this fight.

Law is basically a straw hat at this point.

I am so done with that garbage “One Piece Chapters” website.

Full Summary spoilers are good enough til I get the Manga Plus version on Sunday.

It’s hard enough to read this Manga without ads popping up and causing my phone browser to refresh the page.

I feel like the only person in the world to not like One Piece. The art (to me) looks like shit and the pacing is horrible.

I understand the art. Each Mangaka has their own drawing style and they can make or break it for you.

I CANNOT stand the way Akira Toriyama draws his characters (especially the eyes) so I never got into Dragon Ball.

The pacing does get shit too, but I usually cry hard in the payoffs. Like today when the Samurai met the Minks. Cat Viper was magnificent when he told Ussop “Sorry, we had to keep it a secret even from you.”

You guys have no clue how hard and ready I am for English WCI.
