I don't know who any of these people are, though, but just by looks alone, it's a better casting decision than Netflix's Cowboy Bebop. The actors at least are age-appropriate.

I don’t know much about One Piece admittedly but from what I know of the live action show, at least the casting seems decent for the most part and hell Nami’s actress is an actual fan (not that it will be help with quality) but it’s better than the Bebop cast either not liking the source material or treating it like a wacky comedy.
 
When it comes to a famous and long running anime like One Piece, I should know stuff like this, but you learn something new every day:

A fan asking Oda what kind of countries these pirates would be from. Franky was the one that made me laugh, if we’re being honest.

Yet, on Twitter, someone just does not seem to think the same way as I do:

The end of Act 3 is the end of the arc. The 5 act structure was an invention of retards on youtube.

Luffy will beat Kaido, but they still need to beat two lieutenants and Big Mom before that point. Also, Luffy has to have a fakeout defeat one more time (which will most likely happen after they save the flower capital).

Its been 20 arcs. You should know the formula by now.
 
At least I was half right about Hiyori being in the presence of Orochi.

He has already had two easy deaths, is this dream of his going to be his last? (I haven’t kept up with every story beat, but Orochi is not aware Komorusaki is the daughter of Oden?)
 
Another chapter with Oda driving paleontogists to thoughts of murder.

Live action casting looks okay for something that's inevitably going to be Xena or Hercules tier. I can't get as fussed about say the live Bebop where they'll pretend to have concluded the story as a live One Piece where there's no way in hell it'll be good enough to get close to enough episodes to pretend to be complete.

In what way is this padding? People act like, by this point, each chapter needs to be a checklist of things puffy needs to accomplish, rather than a story that has to build up to a climax. It’s a retarded take that neither understands how a story is structured nor has the patience for a weekly serial.

Usopp always struck me as more "jew" type africa ethnicity wise rather than black. Big fucking nose, inherited from his mom? Jewfro? High pitched nasally screechy voice? really good at being the funny guy? Crafty as hell? Jew. he's a fuckin' Jew.
 
Did anything actually impressive happen? Or was it just a simple one to one adaptation of a manga chapter?
