A small piece of the mother flame was what fueled the shots that turned Lulusia into a hole, they still had plenty of it left when Egghead was getting sacked ( and not destroying the power station was a main priority). The issue they were having was producing more so that they can laser cannon the revolutionaries stopping the food from getting up the Red Line.
Turns out making a deal with the part of Vegapunk whose only job was to Eat and Shit was probably a poor idea.

I'm betting on sacrifice-fodder in the final battles.

It's literally a Deal with the Devil , you should bet your ass that there is some giant cost to all of this BS especially when you consider the fact that somehow these Elders (and Imu) have been around for an unnaturally long time.

What better way to juice your lifeforce then a bunch of cattle who don't even resist you?
my money is still on all of MG being some type of massive full metal alchemist like human transmutation circle that imu plans on using to make himself god of all things. i also think enel must have gotten his whole idea about becoming god and going to the moon from the same place imu came up with whatever his plan is.
It was all of the above, They thought Sabo was there, they rebelled and it was close.
i thought sabo ended up getting discovered because his call was getting intercepted by marines which got its way back to imu who decided to just get rid of the whole island. the uprising going on just happened to be going on when sabo got there which is why he thought it was safe.

I think The Redline is the Snake from the Harley.

I think The Redline is the Snake from the Harley.
i could see that being the case. though i also think the red line is a concentrated mass of every island imu or maybe someone before him has destroyed. which is also why the sea level is rising because the red line is growing every time an island is destroyed.

that or the red line and reverse mountain as well are just left overs from the fight between nika and the demon in the beginning of the harley. it would explain why some people saw nika as a god of destruction while others saw him as a god of liberation as well if he is just going around using cartoon powers to rip up the land itself and leaving all these warped areas in his wake.

its worth pointing out that imu in his new form looks very similar to the demon in the harley.

also the longer this battle goes on the more im starting to think imu is going to die the second he goes back to MG due to blackbeard waiting there for him or something. i feel like we have seen too much from imu for this to be a little teaser fight where everybody gets away with zero issue.

Its not often that we get to debate whether the villain will actually win or not. Tetragrammaton's idea above seems pretty smart to me.

This chapter confirmed to me that there is some Sensui shit going on with Imu.

It's Gonna Be Bad My Nika.

Gokoku Sovereignty probably won't be enough to end Imu, but might have sent him all the way off of Elbaf.

I despise auto-healing Luffy. He's already OP, didn't need this boost and its lazy writing.
the amount of damage luffy has taken during this fight while somehow not ever leaving gear 5 makes wonder if there is more to it than just auto-healing. if the ability imu has is an evil version of whatever the nika fruit can do.

then maybe they share a similar flaw in which while you are able to endure crazy amounts of damage that endurance only exists when you are in your awakened state and the second you go out of that state all of the damage you suffered hits you.

which is why imu cant last outside for long as he needs to be in an awakened form to survive but the damage from being outside stacks up.

Oda is just too lazy to make punishment stick. Remember when using Gear 2nd used to turn Luffy chibi? It sure as fuck doesn't any more.
