The thing that fustrate me the most is how much it relies on American libtard politics. Regardless, I never found it too bothersome as it';s more of a joke rather than trying to cancel Oda or something.
I think about 30% of the background trivia of any One Piece character is a joke.

I like Trafalgar just because he’s the only one who saw Buggy at Marineford and recognizes that he’s not a total fuck up.
Zoro being racist was only funny because it hinged entirely on a perceived common physical trait between his opponents, to the point where it is based solely on enemies having prominent lips (which in itself was racist) or wearing head-to-toe black leather (this was before King’s appearance was revealed).
