Title:Saimurai’s mercy

Cover: Enel blowing bubble gum with frog(s)

Orochi is the user of the mythical zoan snake-snake fruit, it seems that each of his eight heads have their own ideas and nature.

Orochi demand an apology from Komurasaki, but she refuse. Orochi is furious, but he still love Komurasaki for her beauty, so he let out his anger on his subordinates near him by biting them, the whole banquet is a mess.

However, he eventually reach Komurasaki and held her inside his mouth.

One of Oniwabanshu saw Robin and realized she’s the intruder, then summons Raijin(?) and Fujin(?) to seize her.*
That’s when Brook shows up.
Otoko and the ninjas were scared as hell when they saw this great skeleton demon.
Shinobu and Nami were about to join in the rescue, but they realize there’s someone hiding behind them, Hanzou the ninja.
Hanzou saw Shinobu and remembers when she was such a beauty that could even rival Nami, but you look at her now....
Hanzou:sorry, I have mistaken you for someone I knew
Shinobu was so angry she attack his balls.
She then use ninjutsu to rotten the ceiling, which fall heavily on Orochi’s head(s) and forced him to spit Komurasaki out.
Kyoshiro then appeared with his blade and ask Komurasaki if she’s prepared, and when she said yes,
Kyoshiro waved his blade and down goes the most beautiful woman in Wano.
Kyoshiro realize that Komurasaki had Kinemon’s drawing held in her hand.
Orochi was heartbroken, he ask Kyoshiro for his reasons
Kyoshiro: this is my mercy as a saimurai toward Komurasaki
Orochi let out his anger on Otoko and was going to swallow her along with Robin.
Nami appears and summon thunder with Zeus.
—In Okobore Town, Tsuru offer Big Mom and foods, who seem to have returned to the naive state she was when she’s a child.
Big Mom: Udon? Is there a lot of mochi bean soup? Then let’s go!
Only 9 days till the final battle

*Original term in Chinese was lighting blade and wind blade, since blade can also be pronounced as jin in Japanese, I believe it’s a pun by Oda on the thunder god(raijin) and wind god(fujin), that’s why I translate it as so. Not 100% sure tho
 
Today is Valentine's Day, which means it's Miss Valentine's birthday!
 
So far Joy Boy is right. Until the children arrive, looks like Big Mom is back to square one.

This will surely lead to Puddings power coming into play to restore Mama's memory, only to expose the entire genocide.
 
This was a really strong chapter.

  • Did Kyoshiro really kill Komurasaki? I have my doubts, but we will have to see what happens later on. The way he asked her to "get ready" implies that this could be is a plan of theirs.
  • The whole castle scene is great: Orochi wreaking havoc, The Strawhats working in tandem to enable Robin's escape (Brook in particular was hilarious).
  • Big Mom getting amnesia isn't something I like so far, but I get that Oda wants to stagger the events out throughout the week leading up to the Fire Festival.
  • It will be interesting to see what Pudding does on the island, especially re: Big Mom's memories if she ever lands there.
  • Maaaan I wanna see Luffy again. :sigh:
 
This one's a big chapter to take in, but it looks like we're nearing the end of Act 2. Just a feeling I got.

All I want to do is just show off that cover page because holy fuck I'm dead.

Yeah, you'd have to be high off your ass to come up with this scenario.
 
-Enel's fallen off of the Endless Varse and has found a creative way back up.
-So it's not a Dragon-Dragon Fruit like Artur was speculating, but a Snake-Snake Fruit, like what the Boa sisters have (mythical variant, of course).
-Komurasaki has some bigger-ass balls than I thought.
-Orochi goes berserk and attacks some of his party-goers. Is this a side-effect of having a shitload extra heads, some just go off and do their own thing?
-I like how the Waluigi mustache makes it easier to tell which head was Orochi's original.
-The Oniwabanshu don't give a fuck what Orochi does. I see a parallel between their attitude to the matter and Rob Lucci's to Charlos's behavior at the Reverie.
-O-Toko's still laughing and O-Robi's in a tight spot. Again.
-FUCKING NINJAS ERRYWHERE. And we're starting to get some of their names (and with it, more of @TrippinKahlua's bitching)
-BONE-KICHI!! Scaring the everliving fuck out of the leaf ninjas. And goddamn, even when scared into fainting Toko still smiles.
-Robin's finally moving her ass and doing something that resembles fighting. Let's hope it isn't a one-time thing, it was mildly annoying seeing her side-lined at the climax in Dressrosa.
-Huh. So Shinobu isn't just full of herself, she used to have the looks to back up that shit she talks. Does she look the way she does now because she got old or because she just got fat?
-Shinobu's not completely useless as a ninja, she can bust balls with the best of them. And land her fatass on Orochi's head too.
-What the fuck? Did that seriously just happen? Is she dead or am I gonna eat crow again? I feel like I'm gonna eat crow for SOMETHING but it's too soon to tell...
-Zeus is finally back and the cavalry has arrived... sorta, and the whole banquet has gone to shit. Maybe Orochi's people won't be so quick to laugh at him now.
-Amnesiac Big Mom is a total sweetheart, and Napoleon looks out cold.
-9 days until the final battle. Hmm...
 
Oh Big Mom, I am so glad it was less than a year since we last had you. So much has happened, the King of the World, Im, stole my love away and he didn't even have one line or appearance reveal.

Happy birthday sweetheart.

Back to the Story, Linlin is back to her normal self.
And as for whatever else happened, can't wait to actually see what's going on when the anime gets to it. More Orochi bitching here, Toki smiling there, Brook in Ghost form out of nowhere (was he even in recent chapters?), KOMIRASAKI GETTING SLICED OUT OF NOWHERE.

And @Mr. 0 don't worry, with Big Mom becoming a main player for now, I got nothing to be bored with. And the new names this chapter weren't hard to read or remember.

I'm in my room on my day off watching the newest anime episode and just want to say the current theme song is just shit. The animation is fine and badass, but the song itself is a total bore.

I wonder why Oda introduced him to immediately shelf him? I love Barto and his crew, but he really had a sloppy introduction. I swear it looked like he was being set up as an antagonist.

I think his introduction was more a setup for Bartolomeo's introduction.
