Network DooM works well over VPN, (the original was Lan Only) maybe we could set up a game?

Also Quake 3 Arena was awesome, Let me get the rail gun an then try an unseat me from the high platform on Bounce... fuck it let me see if I have the disk and I'll set up a server.

There are plenty of Doom clients specifically designed for multiplayer like Skulltag and Zandronium. Iirc both have bots as well (I know Skulltag does). There's also fanmade server browsers.

And yeah, we should try to play online some Doom/Quake/UT99 deathmatches (whatever you guys prefer), it would be a lot of fun if it ends up happening.

I do love me some Doom, as well as Heretic, Hexen, Unreal, and Quake. Pretty much all of the installments of each were good, though I didn't care too much for Hexen 2.

I also can't be the only one that remembers Descent.

You actually don't need the Skulltag data to use bots, just Zandronum and a game that works with it. The bots are woefully dumb on most maps as always with Skulltag and are just good target practice on DM maps.
