Voting won't solve shit. PPC is a cope party for the lazy brainlets that hate lockdowns and don't want to do anything. Newsflash they have no chance in getting a seat, beating out the green party is a possibility but that's like cheering that your team beat a minor league team filled with players with down syndrome. Apart from lockdowns I haven't heard any economic policies from them. Their platform is "LoCKdOwN BaD" and "MuH GUNS".
...OK...and?? Face it the system is a joke(democracy is garbage read Hoppe), none of these PPCers would last in parliament if they were ever elected let alone stand a chance even getting in that corrupt cesspool. PPC spurgs going "VOTE PPC" aren't doing anything constructive. Decentralize power then you might have some changes happening. For now I'll watch as PPC spurgs whine about how the election was rigged and they should have won riding #2892 and some anomaly preventing "Their guy" from winning.

Voting has meaning, if only that we get to make Trudeau sad.

Make Trudeau sad, Canadians. That guy deserves it for his punchable face.

AUTISM ALERT:

Read today that the Fairy PM got hit with a bunch of gravel yesterday. Can't be bothered to go back and read the whole foreign land thread but now I am curious: Is there any chance that the Fairy will actually be defeated? Voted out of office even? Or is the Fairyship not up for grabs this time around?

From what I understand of Canuck politics, there's a chance. But right now, it's far from certain.

The problem that the Conservatives seem to have is that they basically need to win a majority in parliament, or at least close enough to one that the Liberals can't fall back on the smaller parties to keep in them in power.

The Conservatives have been leading in the polls... but outside of a week or two when people were pissed off at Trudeau over Afghanistan, it's been by pretty narrow margins. And at the last election, the Conservatives actually won the popular vote, but the Liberals won the most seats. If the polling numbers prove accurate to the final results, they'll win the popular vote again, maybe even come slightly ahead of the Liberals in terms of seats, but still won't be able to form a government.

Then again, I also understand that the previous Conservative leader was a complete idiot who did a Hillary by focusing all the party's campaigning in areas they would have won anyway. The current leader is supposedly a lot more competent, so that could put them over the top.

The popular vote last time came from the Tories crushing it in Alberta and Saskatchewan. They lost the popular vote everywhere it counts, e.g. Ontario and Quebec.

you should unironically kill yourself because you're stupid faggot. there's more to voting than winning sits. You win federal funding, you win the confidence of voters, you push the discourse more to the right, you force conservatives to do something. Like I said, if you're voting for the CPC just stop participating in politics because you are never going to get what you want. The CPC is full of dumb faggots like you who will do nothing. Instead of lecturing people who are actually doing the country a favour by participating in politics you should shut the fuck up. Men of action don't need to hear the whining of impotent faggots like you who say "what you're doing is never going to work111" you're obviously never going to do anything and have never thought about it. We don't need to hear what is and isn't possible from someone like you

and if we get another 4 years of trudeau save petulant screeching about vote splitting. I will vote for the cons when they deserve my vote. We are people who stand on principle as opposed to spineless wretches like you. The PPC is the only option and if you don't realise that at this point jump off a bridge

Lol calm down faggot

I'm happy Alberta decided to implement immunization records. I've actually left the country during the pandemic and it's a pain in the ass having to carry multiple vaccine papers in the airport.

ok first of all CPC stands for the Communist party of canada which is not worthy to mention cuz their programme is unprofessional ,
secondly Trodo is gonna win cuz canadians vote for the francoid separatists and spys from quebec (trudo is a francoid name); canadians also vote for the Monarchy just like other saxons (the 3 out of 4 english speaking countries are monarchic), canadians vote for the oligarchs, canadians depend entirely on the import. Canadians are spoiled workaholics , they dont care about political or social activism. They are greedy and glad to inflate rental prices for their shitty box-shaped canadian houses. A nation of useless, greedy managers.

There's an option of succession you moron LMAO. FPTP is a broken system on a broken system (Democracy)
keep sucking that purple dick you "Man of action" you'll get a seat soon.
MAD MAX IS OUR GUY HE'S GONNA SAVE CANADA TRUST THE PURPLE WAVE ITS COOMING.
If you have separatist leanings, the PPC cockblocking the Tories was a near-ideal outcome. Justin spent 600mil to make the country even more angry and divided than ever before for no electoral gain and an even smaller share of the popular vote - and now Justin is stuck as the face to point at as the source of all of it instead of getting away and dumping it all onto his fatter, balder clone. Alberta is now headed to a referendum on equalization in a few weeks with all of this very fresh in the mind, plus a UCP leadership review in the spring that could allow a more separatist-aligned agenda to wedge it's way in. Fuck, Justin even played his part and made yet another completely unforced PR cockup with his surfing trip mere weeks after the vote.

Things are tangibly escalating, and it's in large part because the PPC dug its claws into the Tories' heels and pulled them back in close ridings.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford got one of these broken clock is right twice a day moments due to his recent comments about immigrants.

TORONTO -- Ontario Premier Doug Ford refused to apologize for comments he made about immigrants coming to the province “to collect the dole,” instead saying that he is “pro immigration.”

Speaking to reporters in Tecumseh, Ont. on Monday, Ford said there was a labour shortage in the province and urged people to come to Ontario to work.

“We’re in such desperate need of people from around the world,” he said.

But then the premier specified that he only wanted “hard-working” people to come to Ontario.

“You come here like every other new Canadian. You work your tail off," Ford said. "If you think you're coming to collect the dole and sit around, it’s not going to happen. Go somewhere else.”

‘Collecting the dole’ is a term used in some countries to refer to receiving unemployment benefits.

Shortly after the comments were made, some Ontario politicians spoke out and demanded Ford apologize for the “divisive” remarks.

“A premier is supposed to unite Ontarians, not wedge us further apart,” Ontario Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca said on Twitter. “As a son of immigrants, I know first-hand how people like my parents helped to build Ontario. Doug Ford should apologize for his callous comments.”

Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath said the comments echoed “demeaning stereotypes” associated with immigrants while Ontario Green Party Leader Mike Schreiner said that to suggest newcomers are not hard workers “is inexcusable.”

I can't see what is wrong with what he said. What country wants to welcome dossers when most countries have their fair share of home-grown spongers already.

This is hilarious. People have lost their jobs, half of the province's population is in debt or near ruin, and people are losing their jobs to vaccine mandates and the fat fuck wants to keep importing people.

There are people here who need jobs. But no...go for cheap labour, I mean it's worked for America, right?

China or America needs to just carpet nuke this frozen shithole for the good of the world.
