Moose in Newfoundland are an invasive species. You can go over there, and with the proper certification, which isn't hard to get, you can kill them. There's lots of moose in Newfoundland. I went there and there was a challenge to count as many as possible, I lost count after 200.
I ate moose, it was like chicken. But wild animal meat in general has a rejuvenating aspect to it. You eat wild meat and you feel better.

The average Canadian doesn't enjoy high immigration levels. These levels were increased for financial gain and this was implemented by the Conservatives.

Albertans and Quebecois aren't conservative. The Bloc openly proposed banning handguns last election and yet many rural Quebec ridings voted for them. How can you call those people conservative? and if you take a look at political polling in Alberta you can see that the real divide between Alberta and Ontario is not cultural, Albertans are just as much as self hating pussies as Ontarians, it's fiscal. Albertans are free market cuckservative lolberts while Ontarians are socialist swine

Except that it was the British Army not a "canadian militia", and they only did it after convincing the indians to turn their guns over to the government.

Ontario is anything but socialist. In 1995 Ontario underwent a neoliberal makeup that drastically crippled all social programs and transferred wealth to corporations and wealthy people under Mike Harris. These ''serve the wealthy'' policies were upheld under the liberal government and they continue to this day under the current conservative one. Ontario has the lowest tax rates in the entire country and the absolute bare minimum of per person provincial spending. The rich or so rich in this province it's absolutely obscene. I see more Bugatti's on the road then I can shake a stick at especially driving through areas like Oakville and Mississauga.

I don't disagree, but I was looking at public opinion not what the elites want. The MPPs could pass anything and the people would be none the wiser. Are you going to tell me that the average person from Toronto is not on average more left wing than someone from Edmonton?

The 905 around Toronto is a lot more conservative than Edmonton proper. Given the huge population differential, your metric is flawed.

No shit. But beyond the suburbs - metro Toronto, for example, is full of wealthy people as well who are very fiscally minded and dare I say conservative. A proposed public housing complex suggested recently was enough for them to threaten to sue the city. Taxes are kept low in Toronto for well off people and that's the way they want to see it. They voted for ''Rob Ford'' to become their mayor and put up with him even despite the drug problems, incompetency because he had policies that would protect the wealthy from spending a cent. And it's the same with his bother Doug Ford as Premier.

Though Doug got elected from a mix of both social and fiscal conservatives. Which brings me to my next topic - much of the smaller towns and mid sized cities in Ontario are filled with ''social conservatives''. Sam Oosterhoff the then 19 year old politician with no experience or formal education from Niagra was only elected for one reason - he promised to outlaw abortion. He now sits on Doug Ford's cabinet. There are plenty M.P's just like him too being elected who make similar promises to the people.

Alberta is "kept in line" with all of the transplants from other provinces. the Majority that flock here are the liberals who couldn't get jobs in other parts of the country and end up here because there's (historically) so much demand for workers that born-Albertans alone can't fill those job vacancies.

If our politics were shaped and decided by just the home-grown population, Alberta would still be in 1955 as it rightfully should be.
