I never really afforded myself the time to play on the server all that much, even before it went down the shitter, but I truly did have nothing but the highest hopes for it.

in the meantime, try /vg/station. good community, good admins, and great codebase. it's unique and great, also not on the hub, so no hubbies.
 
I tried holding onto Kiwi Station but left about two weeks ago. Station pop had fallen too much and everything felt really empty on the hours I was on, aside from the occasional murderboning shitter. Still, it felt better than the station I'm on now, where it's just a bunch of metacliques and no combat or roleplay (unless you're in the metacliques). I'll keep station drifting until I find something. Maybe /bagil/ if the tg trannies don't nerf everything fun. Maybe DS-13, if it's not unstable as fuck.

I'll always remember Kiwi Station, where I could say niggers and always rigged a flamethrower. Where I made my first singulo delam and in-space megaconstruction project.
 
I'm sad to see it go, I played this month and found the server perking back up to 30-40 players again after the holidays and it was good fun. Playing mothcurity to ensure the murdoch does not murdoch and the retards do not grief and doing my part. Thank you all for letting me turn you into metahumans and letting me plaster the supermatter with candles and purity seals time and time again. Thanks @Null for giving us a spaceman experience that actually felt fresh.
 
I know some of you thought I was a supreme Ukrainian shitter, but I had more fun on Kiwi Station then I had on any other ss13 server, and finally felt kinda in place. Its sad to see it shut down. RIP

Well it was a damn great server while it lasted, I honestly had no idea what kiwi farms was until like a week in and I’m glad that it wasn’t total shit, it was the first ss13 server I quite enjoyed.

So since SS13 is more or less an unstable shitshow, does anybody know whether SS14 is going to be a stronger prospect with a less-shit codebase to work from?

It's still worked on but last time I checked one of the servers there's still a lot of stuff to be implemented.
