Wraiths got reworked like- 5 or 6 months ago?. Basically, you can still get an anchor if you make a statue of yourself given you are a Hump or have enough skills. Now you have to choose a goal as wraith that will give you chromosomes if you managed to complete it, like;
Ascension +1: You will get a chromosome if you managed to get 150 angst and ascend
Revenge +2 if you win, -1 if you fail: Stay on the same tile to the person you swore to revenge the moment he gets killed.
Decay: Grants no chromosomes and lets you join a late party right away.

After you choose a goal, you will be able to choose between two wraith skills. They are random and may or may no help you with your goal, and yes, grue is still a thing and now cost 1 Angst. Mind that know wraiths have a bigger incentive to fuck each other for Angst gain more than ever now. Angst gain now is based around getting memories from dead people/creatures that spawn on top of corpses the second they are killed, aside from other methods are still guarded.

Forgot to mention that the Thanati now have archetypes to choose from since a month or two ago. Stuff like, better combat skills if you go Millitant, cheaper explosives if you go Curator or no chromie loss from torture if you go Martyr. Kinda like the migrant archetype donation but it's free and anyone that goes Thanati can use it.

This last round the AI was rogue and we couldn't get N2 for the crystal. I think we had an explosive delam within 15 minutes of round start.

Noice, some of the most fun I've had was going hump-anchor wraith and having an NPC bum murder me for the free 10 pain to start a grue-spree about half a year back. The fort then had a 1x1 dark tile everyone ran through near sanctuary and my highlight was a squire-gang triple kill since they all scrambled to help each other.
 
What about toxins? How are research bombs gonna work now with this new system?

It'd be pretty fucking useless if you make a maxcap and you just get like 4 random bullshit techs that no one wants.

You would put O2 in that same loop instead of or in addition to N2. As far as I know there is no benefit to using an air mix, so you would do it instead of N2. If you were using both you would set the first filter to N2 and the second to O2. You have to be very very diligent about scrubbing plasma if you use O2 though because you will get Tritium sparks if there is any residual plasma in the chamber, and the crystal naturally produces a small amount of plasma. That can very easily run away from you into a fill on tritium reaction and the fastest delam you've ever seen.

At least change their sprite to the old Greys sprite from when they were playable, because the abductors sprite is fucking awful.
 
I was just revisiting this game, trying to find a server with a tolerable admin/playerbase and I happened to see this on the browser! I remember everyone wanted a SS13 server around when the MC server launched but I never saw that it actually happened, looking forward to playing :)
 
I keep trying to learn how to actually play the roles but usually end up just killing the monkey and painting the station red with it until the janitor gets pissed and kills me.

Do kinda want to learn how to actually play some of the medical roles because painting the station seems more like the kind of thing to do on other servers to try to speedrun getting banned
 
I've lost count of the amount of times i've been browsing the wiki and seen one of these "Trannies removed this" notes.
Why, trannies, why? What's wrong with power cells?

"Muh powergamers" the tranny said, as he removed something it took 20-30 minutes to make and barely mattered to how rounds went (this was probably removed to make space suits not have infinite power with yellow slime cells).
 
Worst thing about the TGstation wiki aside from seeing the tons of fun stuff that has been removed because muh powagamas is that the information on there is often incorrect, outdated or just missing entirely. There are so many artifacts and things down in lavaland that don't even have a reference on the wiki, so I just have to try and figure out what the fuck they are/do by myself. For example, sometimes there are these thick-ass seemingly impervious walls that spawn in a cube. As a ghost you can see that in the middle of these walls is something called a 'wish granter'. I'd love to know what kind of things it can do, or have a hint of how to get to it but there isn't even a single mention of it in any search engine that I can find. Same with Gluttony's blessing, pride's mirror and other things I've found since I took up mining.
