One of my old autistic favorites is a game called OpenTTD.

It has no spec requirements. It has no account requirement. The only requirement is extreme autism. Come join the Bully Station server and build trains.

The challenge of the game is dealing with the natural complexity of the rails as you chase your own ambitions.

I tend to try and follow the terf as much as possible, as well as use a variety of types of transit.

Oh you absolute fucking sexy beast, take me I'm yours. I used to love Transport Tycoon back in the day. OpenTTD made it even better what with the ability to have super long trains, mods, proper signalling methods, endless gameplay, refittable engines so you don't end up stuck being forced to wait for mail on an IC125 goods route or can use a EMU to move cargo without needing to sacrifice station space for a locomotive, QOL features like the "clone vehicle" function and the ability to paint one type of railway track over another as an upgrade.

Pity it's late here. Right. Promise made. I'm reinstalling, logging on tomorrow and, assuming it's not too late in the game, and the map is big enough (2048*2048 or nothing, I say), I'm gonna spend the whole evening laying tracks and routing trucks and buses and listening to that super comfy jazz soundtrack that the game originally had.

I've set the min_active_clients to 1 and restart_game_year to 2020. The game will now pause when no one's in it.
 
I remember this game, glad to see people still working on it. I was more of a FreeOrion or FreeCol kind of guy. I should give this game another go.
 
Welp, I set my installation up this morning and I'll get going with it later this evening.

This is why share dealing should be turned off in multiplayer games.

EDIT: What do you do with unlimited money? Why, you abuse the buying land to own the world, or level the entire playfield to sea level and flood it.
