Since I'm not a psychiatrist or biologist or whatever it'd take to have an educated opinion on the matter, I obviously don't know (and I don't think they do either, at least not currently). But even if there could be a hereditary component to those, some sort of genetic predisposition, it obviously isn't the only way to be any of them, since people can be groomed gay/trans at the very least (unsure about the other).

We should hope it's not true anyway, because if you're trying to wipe out pedophiles and find out it's genetic, then whenever a parent is caught with that kind of porn you'd not only have to kill the parent but their kids, and killing kids to protect other future kids from hypothetically being molested is some weird social math. Might make for an interesting Stephen King book, but not a good reality lol

No, it wouldn't be a good reality, but reality rarely is. It just is.

We know that with crime in general there is a strong hereditary component. If you have a criminal parent or criminal siblings, then you are an order of magnitude more likely to be a criminal yourself. And we have strong evidence that this is caused by genetics, because this correlation is almost completely absent in adopted children. I don't see why crimes like rape and child abuse would be different.

That we would not like it to be true, does not mean that it is not.

There exists no evidence it is in the same way there is no current known genetic component to being gay.

Until there is research proving a genetic link it isn't worth entertaining in discussion.

My YouTube algorithm led me down a disturbing Rabbit Hole about a pedophile that lurks within the Genshin Impact fandom as well as horse games.

A small Youtuber called Rattle made two videos on the person, so I will share the documentation sake:

He is called “Zuey”, which is a common Polish pet name (allegedly). His name is apparently “Florian Lehmann” and he's a late 20s balding pedophile that left Germany because people allegedly showed up at his house, kept prank calling him and sent pizzas while alerting the authorities of his (possible) involvement with a discord Sextortion CP ring.

User names he has used:
ZGOfficial, FloAwesome, AliciaExtreme, ZombieExploit, KidsExploit, Tia Lightvalley, HQPremiumCheats, BuubiesHax, and DaddyHax

His MO:

He will sell malware to kids claiming that they contain unlimited in game currency and/or skins that are available in the games. Then, he will turn around and manipulate kids as (allegedly some as young as 11) into sending him nudes and other disgusting shit I dare repeat onto here.

Figured I'd share what I know. I have a strong suspicion that he is not only gooning to little girls, but profiting off the images as well and that's why he's running from German authorities.

Doesn't help that there's a sizeable number of Weebs who justify their attraction to children, both fictional and real.

It just so happens that the anime aesthetic is appealing to a younger demographic, which makes finding prey easy for these pedophiles. They use “lolicon” material to desensitize their victims.

You can take it this way:
1. Pedophilia is natural. Some % of population will be born pedos. If society doesn't remove them, you will have society with pedos.
2. Pedophilia is learned. No population is born a pedo but it grows up to be. Society has to find cues and reasons why that happens because the result is same.
Either way, it is something that has to be controlled. "treatement" is just a psy-op that something can actually be done with that issue.
US did trials on rapists with cutting their dicks, balls and using sterilization drugs (that are now used by troons) to make a prisoner "releasable".
They were still violent offenders and the moment they came off meds they found a victim.

If you take that pedos want to have power over victim (sexuality is a side note), you will find a big overlap with politicians that want to have power over people and well .. it is what it is.

If we found a pedo gene I don't know if we should use CRISPR to edit it out with injections or put it into a damn rhinovirus. FEV except REMOVE PEDO VIRUS. RPV.

From my experience and education working in the field of psychology, I know that pedophilia is a learned behavior highly dependant upon grooming or incels going down a dark, demonic path. There may be some genetic influences that make it more possible in a person, but that is not a highly determinable factor. People with severe personality disorders, severe autism, gender dysphoria, or schizophrenia have a higher likelihood of becoming pedophiles.

Pedophilia is not an inherit desire, we are wired to enjoy the sexually mature. Pedos enjoy the thrill of the taboo and the control it gives them.

People become pedophiles because they develop various interpersonal relationship problems with others and themselves, possibly get groomed into accepting it, have a lack of empathy or self-reflection, and give in to exploring harmful fantasies they develop and make excuses to goon out to.

Furries and weebs that are pedos use a slippery slope to try and rope vulnerable people into it. They'll get an audience and progressively insert worse and worse fetishes and themes into their "art." Then they'll try to groom others into chat rooms specifically for pedophilia. They want to blur the lines between fiction and cross it over into reality.

Google used to flag pedophile related searches with a banner that says it is bad, illegal, and to seek help with resources they can go to. The search engine should do that when it comes to loli or shota too, but they do not. Yet Google has had a history of censoring news or benign sites... Interesting.

I hate pedophiles who make and distribute drawings depicting CSAM. I hate pedophiles even more who harm children, babies even, and view real CSAM. There is nothing healthy about being self-gratifying and harming a kid's development no matter how "gentle" or "consensually" you groom. Some of those bastards are sick and sadistic in the extreme, murderous necrophiliac psychopaths with their fantasies and actions. I wish we could publicly hang pedos like that at the downtown square like the old days.
