The guy straight up said he doesn't want a human being, but a toy with no agency or will of her own, doesn't sound like depression, sounds like psychopathy

There is a distinction to be had between being depressed or melancholic in one's solitude, and having that similar affliction of the mind while dragging another person down with it. No good is in store for either party if one is like that and refuses to improve it.
Besides, he outright stated that he's averse to "knowing that she has her own agency and will" outside his own. That's far more telling of his character than if he were to simply leave it at wanting to be alone.

why do you feel the need to minimize it? he literally says that a human having will or agency turns him off. that's not just 'unsocialized' that's sadism.

So DBDR deleted his Youtube channel because one of his shitbag '"friends" used it to blackmail him for money to fund his drug habit. And when DBDR said he was broke, he showed the channel to his family and his mom kicked him out a few weeks before he was officially leaving her place.

He ended up driving to Iowa, getting a job in construction and ended up getting diagnosed with Klinefelter's syndrome. As of now he's still living in his car and working a construction job with a bunch of Mexicans who don't speak English while taking classes at night for a CDL and saving up for an apartment. Honestly, with a diagnosis like that he has a point that his genetics are absolutely cooked. But how in the hell did other doctors not notice the obvious signs in the past?

He's still making community posts on his second channel from time to time and might get back to making videos.

Survival of the fittest isn't natural law. Most adaptable may be. They are the fittest to the environment that created them, having no other thoughts than reproducing.

They're obviously not doing good at it if all they care about is reproduction yet they're failing to do it in the first place.
I don't know how hard it is to read the room - it's an Incel Hate thread, not an attempt at trying to sympathize with the socioeconomic factors behind their fucked up world view.
