there are medications for that these days, you know

they might make you shoot up a school but it’s all worth it for the candy and college students wearing slutty costumes

the fact that people in the UK are offended by it should be all anyone needs to hear to know it's a good thing.
There is not a single greater vote of confidence than the Br*tish population hating something.

It's an extremely lame holiday, but so is every other holiday you don't get off work for. I refuse to hand out candy and I refuse to decorate. I'm not even a fan of spooky movies.

Now NYE? That's the GOAT of holidays.

Its my daughters favorite day of the year, and me and my wife like coming up with family costume ideas. This year we're going out as the Fantastic 4 because we just showed our little one the 2000s F4 movies and she wants to be Invisible Woman 🤣

I loved Halloween as a kid, as an adult I still like it aesthetically, but can't understand why many still dress up and all that. I'll just play a Halloween themed video game and eat some discount candy the next day.

Put a sheet over you head and stand ominously at street corners at dusk for the rest of the month. Chase anyone who approaches you.
That seems oddly familiar...

I mean, I like the whole aesthetic of Halloween and the idea of it, but as an adult I never do anything Halloween related, I don't go to parties and shit because I'm literally on the autistic spectrum and that kind of shit doesn't appeal to me at all, I don't like being around people, not to mention I couldn't even if I wanted to these days because of health issues. I have nothing against Halloween though, I think if you can enjoy it that's great, but don't go trick or treating as an adult, you'd probably alarm people.

There's nothing wrong with just enjoying the festive air surrounding it even if you don't do anything special yourself. I balk at the number of pumpkins my wife insists we buy each year, but they look damn good in our yard and them just being there brings me a certain kind of contentment.
