FWIW I don’t agree with the notion that having children in poverty shouldn’t be done, or that it’s something only for the wealthy. I know a lot of the thread thinks otherwise but I’ve gone over my thoughts in this thread before so for posterity, mentioning that this thread isn’t monolithic in that view.
I concur. It could very well be that social support is better than it's ever been in absolute terms (I don't know, I'm a Slavmutt) w.r.t. feeding and dressing children. However, it's harder to set children up for success in this gay world. I own a three-bedroom apartment. At most I can stick 5 children in it (2 same-sex pairs and 1 more girl) - that's quite good! But only 1 child can breed in it when s/he comes of age. If I have 2 or more, then none of them can breed, they need to get apartments of their own. No matter how poor, you have to claw back your legacy from the gay world, but the amount of children you can realistically have is not infinite, eventually CPS shows up and troons them all out.
