It’s likely true, he has been wanting to launch his own media company for a long time.
It was a bit of a conspiracy back in 2016 that it’s the only reason he ran in the first place. If elected he could challenge and discredit the media then swoop in with all the attention and his own media company to fight “fake news”

Don't worry bro, the salt market if this flips in the courts is gonna be a bumper harvest. Colbert already cried last night that Trump is legally contesting vote counts as if it hasn't been done a bunch of times before. If the courts flip it, I fully expect him to dramatically rip his clothes off and fall to the floor of the studio on air bemoaning the death of democracy.
