I feel like DeWine's done his best and walked back a lot of the early over reactions from before we had a clear idea what worked.

Not with his single minded focus on masks. Numbers keep going up, just mask harder. He's just been less obvious about his hypocracy, it's just little stuff, like never missing a haircut or not putting restrictions on county fairs until the one his grandkids presented in was finished. Or the case reporting tricks they've been doing since the beginning to make things look worse than it is.

Whether Trump wins or loses, I've never been more entertained by politics since his arrival, and godspeed to another four years of his theatrics.
Here's the current county map vs the 2016 one for comparison, it's not very useful since it's still early but hey, it'll be interesting to track over time.
