This is new york city November 3rd 2020 with only two minutes to midnight. The united States police force has their headquarters on the Statue of liberty, because as of tonight the entire city is a warzone. Breaking out is impossible, breaking in is insane.

I think I'll do some errands tomorrow before polls close. Then I'll stay home until Monday morning or whenever its ok again. I live in Tampa, so there will be riots in the college area again I'm assuming. Hopefully the daytime will be safe and the cops will kick ass after the first night or two again.

Trump ironically fulfilled the post 2012 RNC autopsy report that the GOP needed more minority or diversity support to compete with the party of "demographics are destiny".

I have a feeling he will get higher minority support than any Republican since Calvin Coolidge, the last GOP president to run on the civil rights plank.

Public sector union sent out their "approved candidates" list. After looking at my sample ballot for tomorrow, it's no surprise all of the endorsements are for a straight Dem ticket.

Not really. The plan they have is to win the Senate, admit Washington D.C., P.R., and then pack the court. Then they will enact laws to prevent Republicans from doing the same in the event they gain power.

If that happens get ready to lie under the E.U. concept of freedom.
 
What we'll really see with this election, in my opinion, is if people are tired of their lives and wellbeings being dictated to them by politicians that couldn't care less about them, and movements like BLM and antifa that hate them and want them dead.

Yes. I imagine working class/low wage white adults in PA already figure any social welfare programs pushed by the Democratic Party won't apply to them since they're part of "the evil oppressor class".

If you're a low wage white worker, the possibility of having draconian hate crime Caren laws is also terrifying. What poor white person has the money to deal with jail and legal costs associated with a "false phone call/hate crime" charge? If anything, that will just make low-income white people sitting ducks for crime, as they'll be too afraid to report legit crimes for fear of "not enough evidence to charge this person of raping you/robbing you + you're white and the other person is not = you're a bigot and need to go to jail now". (Not saying nuisance calls never happen, but one can see how laws like this could be abused.)
 
Given how shit is currently going, both politically, and in the thread, my dad and I are going to sit on the couch with 5 bags worth of popcorn in a bowl, watching the shitshow unfold. Also, with the Proud Boys fiasco slowly unfolding on Twitter and Discord, I'll be expecting to pop a beer while watching the anarchy and riots (+ lynching by the proud boys if biden wins) go down lol
