Either she read the Kiwi thread or someone straight up called her entitled. Either way, she wanted to argue that it's the same difference between being a pampered, 30-year-old shit and being detained away from your family at the border.

I don't know where else to post this but it's just an interesting thing I found

A bit of context for this company, the owners of this company are a husband and wife couple.

So basically a company called Loud Brass recently hiked up the prices on their products from $100 to $10,000. The reason for this is because the husband cheated on his wife with a 21 year old girl. In an attempt to save their marriage the couple moved to another state. All that happened out of this was the husband going back to the state they had left. This caused the woman to go insane and she proceeded to up the prices not only because her husband left her, but also to help "a good Christian woman" because of "gay marriage liberals"

All of this comes from a manifesto she posted. Now keep in mind this is a 28 page manifesto, but the basic gist of it is that her marriage fell apart not because her husband cheated on her, but because of liberals and the fact that gays can get married now. Some choice quotes include:

attempting to continually rape my sacred thoughts with images and suggestions of my Christian husband of over 30 years, “dating” or having sex with random females who have no respect or consideration for our marriage, family, its sacredness and honor...

or if that wasn’t enough

expecting me, because of all the assault,
illegal sanctions, and intimidation,

to sell LOUD...
to a foreign... literally foreign competitor

as if I was just some mindless, weak, female, who only expected man to do everything and had no education, business acumen, budgeting, or everyday common sense.

The mouthpieces are $10,000

It was only after my husband, under extraordinary occult persecution, fled and left us here, that I learned the area where we had settled to continue our loving life together, not only had the highest divorce rate of any county in the entire state during that time, but also the third highest suicide rate.

Those students, parents, band directors, and professionals, literally could not believe their eyes, the price change was so Dynamic and if it were actually true,

I was restricted from attending events and gatherings normal for promotion, marketing, and good will of our company, by forced dissolution paperwork that contained a boilerplate restraining order. I was assured by my Christian husband that it meant nothing and was in every document of its kind,

If you want to read the manifesto, then I will give a link to it here:http://www.thealmightyuniversity.com/dynomics101.pdf

After reading the Reddit it sounds like he cheated on her with a student who’s in the same band class as their 21 year old kids:
How is it that in America, a mere child, a 21- year old college student, the same age as our own college age children, could possibly think it could be perfectly ok to seduce, entrap, and compromise a happily married husband, dad, and college band director, who just happened to be the performing headliner for our family- owned mouthpiece company, with our two college age children in the SAME band class?

That's the illegal immigration rotting America to it's core.

Shame for her and especially the kids but I think he just dodged a bullet leaving his crazy wife.

Not even remotely the craziest thing I've heard a business owner doing. My favorite was the seafood restaurant owner who was under investigation for... something, who took a chain saw to his own business and caused so much damage the entire building became a write-off and had to be demolished.

Most recently there was this insanity...
https://quillette.com/2018/06/05/portland-bakery-white-guilt-poisons-batter/

My favorite part is their Twitter feed.

And then that recent insanity with the Magic Mirror comic shop that "Got Woke"... and then "Went Broke".

Shame for her and especially the kids but I think he just dodged a bullet leaving his crazy wife.
She doesn't hint me as crazy, this seems more like someone who's having a real hard time coping with a cheating husband, some people just break like that, they take vows and other people so seriously that cheating is the maximum expression of betrayal, probably she'll get on tracks given time or probably she'll never recover, but again doesn't strike me as crazy bitch and I'm someone who firmly believe that treason can only be payed with blood.

She’s got some interesting PHDs:

Ginormous forehaed/10, would let blow my tuba after giving a fake name.
She's about as crazy as it gets before boiling someone's pet rabbit alive, but that husband looks like he molests brass and woodwind instruments instead of playing them. I wonder if she was this nuts before the affair or if this finally broke her fragile psyche.

May I present a deviantart/tumblr user that's still stuck in the early 2000's with their artwork and how they talk- and is obsessed with pink floyd and star wars

DA: syddygurl
Tumblr: /
(I don't know why the url is a forward slash. She's got a bunch of other blogs she runs in the description so if you're curious you can look up whatever those are- I'm not gonna check if they're active)

She's been on deviantart for close to eight years and she in her mid/late twenties (mentions living in Buffalo, New York in a journal but I'm not sure if she still lives there) but she's never grown out of her fujoshi phase- mostly shipping real people.

I'll provide some examples below but mostly of what she posts are these weird 2008 meme-ese pictures with musicians or actors edited in with bright neon text pointing out how cute and sexy they are.
She used to write slash fanfictions between the band members of Pink Floyd (She has a whole folder dedicated to this ship between Syd and Roger...both men were in relationships at the time they worked together and barely had much contact after Syd splintered off from the band) but she's mostly infatuated with former frontman/guitarist, Syd Barret. She also seems to REALLY like a lot of obscure british tv shows and stars from the 60s.
Also, in every one of her journals and description of her uploads, she types in all caps, has the text bolded, and spams those "plz" icon accounts people use to make way back then. And she's a brony.
I'd almost consider writing up a draft for a thread about her but she doesn't really react in lolcow ways. She's just mostly cringy and that's it. She's also not that very active (her tumblr's last post was in march of this year) so the thread won't last for long.

Now let's take a look at a few of her masterpieces /sneed

EDIT: On second thought I should have posted this to the Deviantart horrors thread but it's two am and I'm too tired to redo all this stuff.

This is a Kickstarter dedicated to finding religious role models for children based, not on their faith or good morals, but on what their skin color is or who they liked to screw. At first I thought this barely warranted a post in the SJW thread, but then I read this:

"like J.K. Rowling, author of the most exquisitely hopeful--downright sacred in our household--series of books teaching us that Love ultimately wins"

If your religion considers freaking HARRY POTTER to be a sacred text, then you are absolutely a lolcow and deserve to be treated as such.

Granted, a few of the people chosen for inclusion in the book are reasonably mainstream, like Ghandi or St. Francis of Assisi, but way too many are "first gay person to do this" or "first trans person to do that".

If your religion considers freaking HARRY POTTER to be a sacred text, then you are absolutely a lolcow and deserve to be treated as such.

Well, what the fuck do you expect? Harry Potter is a sacred text to most SJWs anyway. Some of them actually believe it to be about activism, and they even go as far as complaining that Dumbledore isn't gay.

Anyway, about the topic in question, here's the description of the project itself:

About
Holy Troublemakers & Unconventional Saints is an illustrated children’s storybook featuring 50 stories and portraits of people of faith who worked for more love and justice in their corner of the world, even when that meant rocking the religious boat.
A mockup of the "Holy Troublemakers & Unconventional Saints" book cover.
This book will be illustrated with a variety of artistic styles from diverse artists and will emphasize the stories of women, LGBTQ people, people of color, indigenous people, and others too often written out of religious narratives.
Sample book spread of Maryam Molkara. Illustration by Justine Lecouffe.
There’s a growing community of progressive families of faith as well as grandparents, godparents, aunts, uncles, and teachers who want better faith-based content for our kids.
These are the faith heroes we want on our children's bedside tables.
Sample book spread of Bayard Rustin. Illustration by Sr. X.
This book will feature 50 profiles (2-4 pages each) and be written for the 8-12 age range. Each profile will include commissioned portraits of modern and historical holy troublemakers and unconventional saints including:
Six of the finished portraits for the new book.
1) Maryam Molkara, the pioneering trans rights’ advocate and Muslim woman from Iran we should all know about (she literally walked into Ayatollah Khomeini's office one day to ask for the right to live openly as a transgender woman).
2) Bayard Rustin, the lifelong Quaker and Civil Rights hero we should all know about but often don’t because he was also gay.
3) Alice Paul, also a Quaker, and the radical women’s rights organizer who transformed the women’s right to vote movement (because being “polite” wasn’t working).
4) Rabbi Regina Jonas, the first woman rabbi officially ordained anywhere in 1935 in Berlin, Germany.
5) Cindy Wang Brandt, a modern-day “unfundamentalist” parenting advocate and former evangelical missionary from Taiwan who was recently fired from her job for standing up for LGBT rights.
6) St. Francis of Assisi, the unconventional saint who was born to wealth but gave it all up to work on behalf of the poor (and animals, making him a favorite of Hufflepuffs everywhere).
A few of the other modern-day holy troublemakers and unconventional saints who have agreed to participate include:
Modern-day holy troublemakers included in the book.
- Valarie Kaur, a Sikh leader, TED speaker, and creator of the Revolutionary Love project.
- Bishop Yvette Flunder, an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ who leads the City of Refuge UCC Church. She is also the Bishop of The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries, a renewed preacher, and she also sings incredible Gospel music with groups such as Chanticleer.
- Brian McLaren, one of the founders of the Wild Goose festival and author of many progressive Christian books.
- Mahdia Lynn, organizer of an LGBTQ-inclusive mosque in Chicago and a project to help incarcerated Muslims.
- Reb Irwin Keller, a rabbi, teacher, and musician who performs both sacred music for Jewish rituals as well as part of a drag band he describes as “America's Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet”.
- Eliel Cruz, LGBTQ activist and founder of the #FaithfullyLGBT campaign.
- Rev. Dr. Megan Rohrer, the first transgender clergy person to be ordained in the Lutheran Church and author of a series of books for young children about diverse families.
- Samir Selmanović, an author and speaker whose own life experiences growing up in Croatia with both Muslim and Christian family, surrounded by both capitalism and communism, helped him see the Divine and the connectedness of all people in unique ways.
- Kaitlin B. Curtice, an indigenous rights advocate and author who focuses on the intersection spirituality and everyday life.
- Herb Montgomery, a modern-day itinerant preacher and teacher of the radical teachings of Jesus, especially as they relate to the poor and systemically oppressed.
- Kate Christensen-Martin, a progressive pastor who, among many things, writes curriculum for children that helps them connect with their own beautiful souls and honor each other.
- Melanie Gleason, an immigration lawyer who offers free legal counsel to immigrants along the southern border of the United States whose own faith is best described these days as agnostic but who believes deeply in what people and communities can accomplish for the good of us all together.
- Alicia Johnston, a blogger and former pastor of a conservative denomination who lost her job when she recently came out as bisexual.
- Jennifer Knapp, Grammy-award-winning singer and songwriter who lost her first career in the Christian music world when she came out as queer and has had to rebuild from the ground up.
- Danilo Cortez, an evangelical pastor who felt called to lead his church to become a “third-way” church where LGBT members were truly included, before he knew one of his children was gay.
- Leslie Foster, an experimental filmmaker and artist whose childhood growing up all over the world as a missionary kid probably led to his spiritually nomadic sensibilities now. His work focuses on sharing under-heard stories and expanding our sense of the Divine.
- Yiscah Smith, an educator at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies & the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem and advocate for authentic living.
- Deborah Jian Lee, journalist, podcaster, and author of Rescuing Jesus: How People of Color, Women, and Queer Christians Are Reclaiming Evangelicalism
- And more (like J.K. Rowling, author of the most exquisitely hopeful--downright sacred in our household--series of books teaching us that Love ultimately wins).
Definitely will be looking to add to this list with your suggestions, dear backers!
And, here are a few of the historical holy troublemakers and unconventional saints. In addition to the glorious Maryam Molkara, Bayard Rustin, Rabbi Regina Jonas, Alice Paul, and St. Francis of Assisi featured above, this list will include a few known names but also people we don’t know much about, especially the faith aspects of their journey.
This list isn’t final, and as a backer, you’ll get to help decide on the final list. The possible list currently includes:
Historical holy troublemakers to include in the book.

We're a family that loves to travel and we'll be taking the book on a U.S./Canada tour when it's done and ready to share. We'd love to meet you along the way and add a stop in your hometown for a book reading and signing event, coffee, and lots of smiles.
5. Summer Family Retreat
Join us for a summer family retreat and meet other unconventional families.
Let's get away for a summer family retreat in 2019 together! Bring your whole family (up to 5 people) and we'll bring the speakers, lodging, food, and fellowship. We're keeping this one small and intimate so we can get to know each other, make new friends, get inspired, and spend quality time with other unconventional families. (Note: The location and final details will be based on backer feedback and availability.)
I’m Daneen Akers, the author and publisher of Holy Troublemakers & Unconventional Saints. I’m a writer, producer, teacher, and mother who believes deeply in the power of stories. Books are beloved friends in our house, and the percentage of wall space in our (quite small) house taken up by bookshelves is significant.
Daneen Akers, author and publisher of "Holy Troublemakers & Unconventional Saints".
Most of my past projects explore faith, identity, and belonging in some way. My past work includes the feature documentary, Seventh-Gay Adventists, which screened at numerous film festivals around the world, Enough Room at the Table, a companion outreach film for small groups with the goal of modeling respectful and mutual dialogue among people who have different theological perspectives around the intersection of faith, sexuality, and gender; and Outspoken, a series of seven short documentary films about LGBTQ people of faith who are living out their faith and who they are in unique and compelling ways.
My work has been featured in NBC News, TeenVogue, LGBTQ Nation, Spectrum, Frameline Film Festival, the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, the Seattle LGBT Film Festival, and many more. I was a part-time resident in the San Francisco Film Society’s inaugural FilmHouse program and received the Pacific Pioneer Emerging Filmmaker Grant.
Most saliently for this project, I’m the mother of two daughters, Lily (9) and Lucy (2), both of whom are named after favorite literary characters (Lily is for Lily Potter, whose selfless act at the beginning of Harry Potter begins the theme that love is ultimately the most powerful force in the universe; and Lucy is for Lucy Pevensie, the youngest of the siblings in The Chronicles of Narnia and the first to believe in the magic of Narnia).
I have a great personal need for a resource like Holy Troublemakers & Unconventional Saints. I grew up in a conservative Christian denomination and have spent an enormous amount of time and energy as an adult wrestling with my own faith (and often lack thereof). I've deconstructed much and am still actively working to reconstruct something with roots and values that I want to pass on to my children, no matter where their own faith journeys take them.
I have removed a lot of faith-based materials from our home that no longer fit, but we haven't done a lot of replacing yet, mainly because the vast majority of available religious materials aimed at families and children are fundamentalist in worldview. But I feel the lack of options. I do want my girls to know that faith isn’t all bad, and religious people can and do choose to do good, often motivated by a vision of a loving, just, and compassionate Divine.
As a storyteller, the clearest place for me to start adding something back to our deconstructed religious landscape are the stories of people of faith who have done much good, even if that meant rocking the religious boat.
I’m interested in my children learning about people of diverse faith backgrounds who have been troublemakers for the higher good, people like the ones Bayard Rustin called for when he said: “We need, in every community, a group of angelic troublemakers.” These are the faith heroes I want my children to grow up reading about and being inspired by. And I know I'm not alone in that desire.
We plan to use the funds from this campaign to print 2,000 copies of the book, purchase an ISBN number, commission the remaining artists to complete the illustrations, copyediting, design, and layout of the book. All of the funds for this $50,000 goal are for hard costs.
Our plan is the complete the book over the next few months and deliver it to backers by the end of March, 2019. We will keep you updated on our progress throughout the process.
In order to help international backers (outside the U.S.) save money, provide more shipping options, and keep costs as accurate to international locations as possible, we will be charging for international shipping and handling when the book is fulfilled rather than during the campaign.
U.S. backers will pay for shipping now.
Our promise to you:
- We will ship anywhere in the world at the most affordable rates available at the time of shipping.
- We will provide multiple shipping options so you can decide the speed and cost of the international shipping that you prefer.
- We will make it easy for you to provide your most current address so the books get sent to you and those you love more quickly and accurately.
- We will keep you informed along the way and make it simple for you to receive your amazing book when it's complete!
Thanks for being part of this publishing journey. I know I'm not the only spiritually unconventional parent who needs better faith-based books on my children's bedside tables.
Let's inspire our kids, our grandkids, our students, our church kids, and kids (and adults!) everywhere with faith heroes who did something for the common good.
Please share this in your circles of influence as it's going to take all of us to make this possible!

So you guys might remember me talking about this walking mess of a human, gallantmon8. Well, i checked up on him and apparently, his twitter is locked. Strange. I searched his username on Twitter and i found out the guy has been reported to the police.

Curiously, i checked around to see what the hell is going on and i found a tweet posted by Skye Bennett, who's a voice actress who's known for voicing Pyra/Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 game for the nintendo switch. Notice the white knight defending him in the comments.

Something is going down and i contacted some people who may have been in the guy's friend circle or was a part of his discord server. Basically they summarized it as this.

Ben apparently was caught doing ERP, erotic roleplaying, with a naive 16 year old girl on Discord. Keep in mind, this guy is 26 years old. The girl spilled the beans in his server, which prompted one of the mods questioning him what he was doing hoping it was SFW. The girl was posting that Ben made her a "mermaid" and soon Ben started to delete the girl's messages along with the mods message. But he was too stupid to realize the mod checked the audit logs and saw what he was doing. The mod used the @everyone tag and it caught the servers attention. Many people were disgusted and Ben of course was making excuses as usual thinking people would forget about it the next day. Then one of the members said they were going to file a police report and another will tip the FBI about him. Ben started to get worried and have "anxiety" cause he didn't want to go to jail.

This is a big turn of events, knowing this guy did ERP with a 14 and a half year old girl on deviantart 5 years ago. I'll try to see if there's any logs out there cause this HAD to be documented if some of it is on twitter.
