I intended it as a reference or inspiration rather than a recycle, especially since Sir Hiss is very anthropomorphic in his body language versus Kaa which is appropriate for the Zootopia world.Robin Hood and Bedknobs and Broomsticks recycling doesn't count

Yep, I noticed they had a ancestor of the snake character writing with its tail like something Sir Hiss would do in that film.I intended it as a reference or inspiration rather than a recycle, especially since Sir Hiss is very anthropomorphic in his body language versus Kaa which is appropriate for the Zootopia world.
I bet we all do. The film was already cam ripped tonight and making its way in the usual torrent spots.Mostly I just wanted to post a clip of his nice animation.
True, someone's child couldn't stop being a child during the recording.I'm currently waiting on a good rip for Zootopia 2 (only one I've found is a cinema recording, gross)
Oh it's pretty dumb. It tries with the new characters and action but it's 96 minutes, then the credits toll and we're out.because I don't want to give Disney my shekels. But what I have inferred from what tiny bit has been spoiled to me (I avoid trailers, but still get a little here and there) gives me a pretty bad impression of what The Message probably is.
I get the distinct impression it is meant to be an allegory for Palestinians, Native Americans, and other "displaced diaspora" who "have had their history erased". Since reptiles were non-canon as far as the first movie was concerned, it's mighty suspicious that there's a fucking snake on the poster.
I probably won't be checking this thread until after I've seen the movie because I still value not getting spoiled, even if I'm right. I like all of my media to be as unspoiled as possible.
Sounds about how I felt, and even in 3D, it sounds like a cheap thrill.Just watched this, about the only good thing I can say about it is see in 3D if it's not than don't. The story is pretty like one of those cheap Disney made for dvd movies like "put name of movie here" 2. I didn't expect anything and I was still disappointed.
Same here. I know there's only so much you can do to make a snake anthropomorphic but I swear I've seen that design before. Maybe it's because of the snake from Bad Guys? The only take away I have so far is that the snake on the poster looks oddly familiar, as if its a recolor of an older Disney snake design.
That snake looks like an anthropomorphized version of Hunter S Thompson. All he's missing is the glasses and cigar. That would make him Hunter SSSSSSS Thompson.Same here. I know there's only so much you can do to make a snake anthropomorphic but I swear I've seen that design before. Maybe it's because of the snake from Bad Guys?

I'm torn, on one hand fuck modern companies for removing every heterosexual relationship in media, on the other hand Robin Hood did enough damage by itself, and it at least had intra racial romance.I think I'm a furry guys. That damn fox...
Anyway Zootopia 2 got spoiled 6 months ago when someone leaked a test screening. In it there were a lot of romantic scenes and a potential wedding ring, all of which got cut from the final film. I'd call it a troll but the details that remained were spot-on and the artbook proved some of those scenes existed.
So Disney cut out all the kissing and romantic scenes like some strange self flagellation where they must always hurt themselves and make it suck more, just in case a straight person starts thinking it's supposed to be romantic.
(It is still pretty romantic though. Now they just eye fuck each other through the whole movie. You can tell the animators were on the Bunnyfox ship when the executives were not.)
It's tough. It's like a normality that eroded itself over the past 50 years.I'm torn, on one hand fuck modern companies for removing every heterosexual relationship in media, on the other hand Robin Hood did enough damage by itself, and it at least had intra racial romance.
It's more the last decade. 10 years ago films still had romance and furries were still a joke (not that it didn't exist, but funny animals weren't immediately connected to porn). It's tough. It's like a normality that eroded itself over the past 50 years.
I rewatched it recently. The first two acts are solid (the sloth scene is the funniest thing Disney has produced since the Emperor's New Groove). The movie only falls apart once Judy has her press conference. I think if they would have figured out a way to resolve the plot without Judy flaming out, quitting the force and then miraculously stumbling upon the solution after a time skip, it would be a much better film.Tbh I didn't like the first zootopia. Don't know why it's highly rated as toy story, httyd, spirited away, Wallace and gromit and Shrek 2 even if the script is mid at best
It worked for True Detective.I think if they would have figured out a way to resolve the plot without Judy flaming out, quitting the force and then miraculously stumbling upon the solution after a time skip, it would be a much better film.
You can tell that they spent a couple of years spinning wheels and worldbuilding. It's a very well realized thing.Tbh I didn't like the first zootopia. Don't know why it's highly rated as toy story, httyd, spirited away, Wallace and gromit and Shrek 2 even if the script is mid at best
