Gragson, 25, was first suspended by the race team and then by the sanctioning body. The 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship runner-up is a rookie in the Cup Series this year, and currently sits 33rd in points.

Xfinity Series regular Josh Berry will drive the No. 42 car this weekend at Michigan. Berry has made several starts this year, filling in for Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman at Hendrick Motorsports while they were both out with injuries. He will be full-time in Cup next year, taking over the No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford after Kevin Harvick retires.

Legacy Motor Club, co-owned by Jimmie Johnson and Maury Gallagher, released the following statement, but did not indicate the specific reason for the suspension:

"We have made the decision to suspend Noah Gragson effective immediately regarding his actions that do not represent the values of our team. Josh Berry will drive the No. 42 entry for this weekend's NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan."

NASCAR and Gragson react

NASCAR has followed suit, indefinitely suspending Gragson from competition:

"NASCAR fully supports Legacy Motor Club’s decision to suspend Noah Gragson. Following his actions on social media, NASCAR has determined that Gragson has violated the Member Conduct section of the 2023 NASCAR Rule Book and has placed him under indefinite suspension.”

Gragson has since released the following statement on social media, apologizing for his actions: "I am disappointed in myself for my lack of attention and actions on social media. I understand the severity of this situation. I love and appreciate everyone. I try to treat everyone equally no matter who they are. I messed up plain and simple."

Gragson recently liked an Instagram post, which appeared to make fun of the 2020 murder of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers.

"Which appeared to make fun of"?

Nigga it's a rhyme, it doesn't even suggest he died or something OTHER than a knee which is the usual sin, and I'm struggling to see how this is suspense worthy even taking a gigantic faggot's view of the world.

You can just as easily argue it's lightheartedly pointing out the inhumanity of a black man dying under the knee of the white man (the sea) or some bullshit like that if you want to give yourself brain damage staring into the wokebyss.

Alright, which one of you has been a secret NASCAR driver all this time?

Now that the cat's out of the bag, I'm excited to see the design of the #41 Kiwi Farms car sponsored by Josh's Silver Hoard.

Making fun of saint floyd is like making fun of Muhammad in the middle east. Should have known better than to insult the religious savior of millions of white guilt liberals.

NASCAR fans always have and will be racists (enthusiasts of racing). This is just the NASCAR bending a knee onto their customers.

We really live in the worst timeline, where "liked an Instagram post" is reason enough to suspend someone from their job.

Reminder: don't use your account with your full name. Use a burner account.

Also what the fuck is this shit? So much for free speech and expression

Where he actually messed up is by apologizing.

Everybody knows how woke the NASCAR fan bass is.

as if watching loud cars go in circles for hours was ever going to become trendy among urban yuppies.
Well the original appeal of it was loud cars going in circles with the chance of someone getting eviscerated and turned into a fine red mist in a car wreck, which was popular almost everywhere in its formative years.

Now that they've took the latter part away, you might as well just watch some kid hold the trigger down on a scalextric for 24 hours.

Matter of fact, don't even have social media period. If that's all it takes, all of us would be out of work.

Humanity has always been intrigued by death. It is just something people find fascinating because of all the emotions that come with it. It has been this way since the beginning of time. After all the Romans loved watching people kill each other in the Colosseums.

That's like the mildest boomer meme ever. Compared to that my post history here is probably like six or seven holocausts.

Also hicks can't have shit. First Bud Light and no Nascar.

It's just incredible how they ditched their traditional audience to try to go upmarket, as if watching loud cars go in circles for hours was ever going to become trendy among urban yuppies.
They got lucky with Jeff Gordon but Gordon was a fluke and had a rivalry with Dale Sr that elevated him. All of the other faceless Glamour Guy rejects that followed can't have rivalries or show personality and with Gordon, Stewart, and nepo baby Dale Jr gone and Danika Patrick flopping so hard she retired to the glorious life of Aaron Roger's fag hag beard, they have jack shit to attract people. Especially Bubba Wallace, who's flopped even with the false flag operations to try and gin up sympathy for him.

And the fucker apologized because they basically threatened him with the "if you apologize we MIGHT one day let you back into our club in a reduced capacity role but if you don't, you're banned for life and unpersoned". The anti-life church ALWAYS use the blackball threat to force people to apologize since they counter with promises of "MAYBE" forgiving them but no guarantee and people holding hope for that non-existent "forgiveness" and restoration rather than embracing complete ruination of their life.
