Word of Advise, Team Xecutor CFW (oh the irony) is designed to BRICK a switch if you try to pirate it rather than buying from em.
that same brick safe ward been know to randomly trigger cause shitty job so even a "legit" copy could still brick a console

So far, they doing it manually by waves, but if you mess with your Switch and Go online, you are 99% definitely getting your Switch (the console, not just the accounts) banned from online (although bricking is kinda of legal, they dont do that, yet)

How do I check if my Switch is hackable or not?

as long as the Firmware is below 5.0.0, you are good.

The mariko SoC revision is not out, but there are already in circulation a "hardmode" done at the fabric production levels that fixes the Nvidia Fuck up that allowed people to access the debug mode and run scripts

Thats what happen when your "New console" is just a re purposed SHIELD K1, the documentation was already out there, this also explain why the two emulators that are out there can even manage to boot certain games

Booting games is "easy", getting em to run the full game beyond 10 FPS or crashing every time is the challenge. CEMU did what it did cause everyone basically agrees they are using stolen code.

Besides bricking it, wasn't there a risk of short circuiting it?

About the bans, iirc they also banned some guy's unhacked switch after he played online with the hacked one or something.

the shortcircuit was if you followed a troll guide using aluminum foil

not sure about the hacked one. I dont think is a mistake cause when a console is banned they ban the unique ID each console is branded with from factory.
I do know some people that installed a CFW then went back to "legal" FW and went online only to get banned (the community still have not figured out what part of the system keeps the log but if you mess with the FW it will be recorded and when you go online Nintendo will know if you have messed with the console and ban you"
