Honestly, if Ubisoft can get its shit together and release a remaster of the Petz: Nursery DS games then I'd actually buy games. DS Games should be remastered.

Honestly being more iconic than pikmin isn't hard, it's a really good game but it never got the recognition it deserved. And it's such a vibe too, no other Pikmin game has anywhere near the same atmosphere of pikmin 1. It's a fun one to revisit, especially after the release of pikmin^2There's tons of games on my list that are more iconic than stuff like Pikmin 1 or AC 1, SotC included.
LttP is one of the most copied games of all time. Maybe its lessened in recent years but there was a time in the not so distant past where all the Zelda snobs insisted that LttP was the best game of all time and the rest just weren't as good as it.
You sure? I see it's on discount but not free. Regional deal maybe?DOOM + DOOM II is free on the Switch, not sure for how long but its actually pretty fun playing Doom II with a Pro Controller
Possibly I had the Base doom ii on switch so that could have also been it, the eShop said free download so I took advantageYou sure? I see it's on discount but not free. Regional deal maybe?
Ah yes, that makes sense, I think the I + II upgrade is free for anyone who owns any of the older releases on any platform. So if you have Ultimate DooM on Switch/Steam/blah you get the recent all-in-one port for freebies on the pertinent platform.Possibly I had the Base doom ii on switch so that could have also been it, the eShop said free download so I took advantage
Luckily enough good NES games have been ported to Switch so that the latter can at least keep up, sort of. Still lacking the whole NES Ninja Gaiden trilogy, and the first one's trapped on Online.Because I'm counting Switch as part of that generation, and it shits all over the entire 3rd generation on its own (only Game Boy really has many games that hold up well), let alone counting whatever few gems somehow make their way to the other consoles.
GC had that button click when fully pressed though. I would expect GC games to feel weird with a Xbone controller and vice versa (haven't tried tho). If so, they'd have to make a call about whether they'd rather prioritize GC games or have normal triggers more suitable for multiplats. If there's a way for a trigger to pull double duty as a digital button, that's great, if it actually works well. I'd have to check it hands-on.I’d be a lot more forgiving if other companies hadn’t already done the whole “press a switch to toggle between analog and digital” thing. This would have been the ideal time to improve upon that idea, and Nintendo talking about wanting to make the “perfect controller” seems hypocritical when it leaves out a feature that other controllers have had for several generations and won’t even play those announced Gamecube games as they were originally intended.
I read those have mouse support, if that's worth anything to you.DOOM + DOOM II is free on the Switch, not sure for how long but its actually pretty fun playing Doom II with a Pro Controller
In lieu of that at least it has the superior Xbox trilogyLuckily enough good NES games have been ported to Switch so that the latter can at least keep up, sort of. Still lacking the whole NES Ninja Gaiden trilogy, and the first one's trapped on Online.

A buddy of mine has a 3rd party controller that lets you switch between having the L2/R2 be like normal buttons (just like L1/R1) or have it like GameCube, except there's no click when you press it all the way down. I assume it wouldn't be impossible to add that if Nintendo wanted to.If there's a way for a trigger to pull double duty as a digital button, that's great, if it actually works well.

Looks like it's sold out everywhere here in the US. It looks like you can't stop stupid.
?I am really interested in the pre-order numbers globally. In Japan, the Switch 2 pre-orders are at 2.2 million. In comparison, the Switch netted 300,000 pre-orders. I will say this, Nintendo's first-party games tend to be the best in their respective generations. Going into their next generation, it feels like they are playing their hand well by releasing accordingly and not like the Switch 1.

For some people here this would be 2 or 3 months salary XD.
I built a PC for my brother earlier this year for about half of the price of the NS2, with the following specs to give you an idea (all prices in USD):Out of curiosity, how does the prices of PC hardware compare? How much more would it cost to build a mid-range gaming rig in Mexico?
