I bought a Playstation VR back when it came out in October and it's been crapping out on me lately. Turn itself off by itself after 30 mins of use and being an Asshole. That was the first and last time I'm buying anything like that again after the first year of release.

Ok I would buy a Joycon set for use on my PC, especially so I can attempt to emulate the Wii's motion controls with it.
Shit, same here though. I've been jonesing for some No More Heroes, but couldn't be arsed to get it to work without a Wiimote on Dolphin.

So because the Switch is unavailable in every domestic store here for at least a couple of weeks, I got an Austrian friend to buy one for me along with BotW. For some reason you can't find any Switches here for a reasonable price, but they've got them by the truckload in some small Austrian place.

He dumped his copy of 1-2 Switch on me as well. At least it's free I guess lol

Got mine from GAME in the UK because amazon.de had none left and amazon.co.uk wouldn't ship to germany. Plenty in the UK or just lack of interest over there.
Paid about the same price.

400 bucks in the trash RIP

For those that care, since Switch isn't region locked, you can play Disgaea 5 Complete right now. It has an English Language option. The Japan-only physical release of I am Setsuna is the same way, for those that care about getting physical media whenever possible.

Is there a difference from the ps4 version? You will never finish that game it just goes on forever.

It has all of the DLC stuff built-in from the get-go, so it can save money if you don't have the game yet and have both a PS4 and Switch. It isn't like the PSP/DS/Vita Remakes of 1-4 that added a bunch of completely new content.

The funny part about this to me is that Titanfall 2 runs on the source engine and could easily run on the Switch. Fast RMX looks several times better and runs at 1080p with stable 60fps.
Not really.
Minimum PC Requirements:

OS: Win 7/8/8.1/10 64bit
CPU: Intel Core i3-6300t or equivalent [4 or more hardware threads]
RAM: 8GB
HDD Free Space: 45GB
GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
DirectX: 11
Internet Connection: 512Kbps or faster

True I guess. If you don't have a ps4 it would be cheaper. The season pass for 5 is on sale alot.

Sorry, I forgot the devs are retarded.

That and you can play it portably, if that's a major selling point for you. It has been pretty nice to be able to just pick up the portable part and keep playing as I walk out to get the mail or grab something out of the fridge or whatever.

I have no idea what to make of the "update" at the end of this. They say no download needed, but they don't say you'll be getting 100% of the game on the Switch cartridge. Weird. Hella fun game on the WiiU, FWIW, even though me being the klutz I am I never seemed to be able to drive cars very well. Motorcycles, yes, cars no.

LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER ON SWITCH HAS ONLY 35% OF THE GAME ON RETAIL CARTRIDGE

Early retail copies of the next-gen ports for Lego City Undercover have popped up online, and it’s revealing some unsettling details on the Nintendo Switch version.

The Switch version requires an internet connection, while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions do not. This is chiefly because WB Games decided to ship the 20GB game on an 8GB cartridge, forcing the user to download the other 13GB of data themselves.

To give you a good comparison, that’s almost as big as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. From what we’re seeing, WB Games is making anyone who pays 60$ for a four-year-old game to download 65% of the title because they didn’t print the game on a larger cartridge.

Not only is this incredibly inconvenient for Switch owners with inconsistent internet connections, it sets a dangerous precedent for the future of the console.

If publishers want to save a couple bucks, they can just not put a chunk of the game on the cartridge and make you download it. With the Switch itself only having about 29GB free to the user, that means if this became a trend, users would be forced to pick up a Micro SD card to be able to store all of their games that they own physically.

While there are factors such as publishing costs and licensing that may account for increased production costs on the Nintendo Switch, that simply is not an excuse to sell consumers 35% of a game to cut costs.

UPDATE: In a statement to Eurogamer, WB Games officially responded to reports of Lego City Undercover requiring an install, saying:

Players who purchase Lego City Undercover on Nintendo Switch at retail do not need to download the game to play.

Eurogamer itself suggest in their article that this may be only half true and only parts of the game will be playable without an install.

While that really sucks, I think you could install the game entirely how the Xbox 360 required you to insert the second disc that came with the game.

How would something like that work in an open world/sandbox type game? Would you need to swap disks or cartridges to load different backgrounds back and forth? Yeha, a lot of the game was fetch quests, but you could still wander around over a surprisingly large area. Wasn't exactly the "GTA for the Under 13 set" some claimed, but it was still relatively unstructured.

What i ment by is have another cartridge for installing the important parts of the game on the device. Then have the cartridge you have to use contain the rest of the information so the game can be played.

So you can send in your borked Joy Cons and Nintendo will actually fix them. That's pretty neato.
