I have a Wii + Wii U. I could just mod that if I wanted to play gamecube games. Or, I could just install Dolphin. Why would ANYONE get a Switch 2 for GC games? A wii is cheap, a flashdrive or HDD (dependent on if you mod a Wii or Wii U) + SD Card (and an adapter) will be less than a third of the shit for Switch 2.

GCN titles are annoyingly expensive. If you're going to argue about piracy just fuck off because a lot of people don't want to do it.

The console wars were halfway decided by whether you wanted to pay a monthly sub or not. Switch has that by default, on top of a premium fee to access a bunch of outdated games. Now they make a whole-ass direct about games you already own, requiring a second purchase to upgrade it.

Yeah some of us have evolved with consumerism throughout the years whereas Nintendo is still stuck in 2016 and people applaud them for it cause they uhh.. played pokemon once or twice.

Crippleball was easily the most hype this chat has gotten for anything that has been seen today.

It'll probably be nearly as successful as ARMS despite a complete lack of color or life being shown in the gameplay.
